I know that the Newbie Routine suggests a 2 on, 1 off training schedule, but do you think there is any harm in a 1 on, 1 off schedule? Slower gains?

Just had my second training session yesterday. Significantly better than the first. Better erection control, even though I had to stop a couple times during stretching and jelquing to let my penis “calm down”. HA! No morning wood this morning, but I think that has more to do with only 4.5 hours of restless sleep than any training faults. :-\


Remember these are just “suggestions”. The more time you spend doing the routine the better you will find out what works for you. Remember this is a marathon and not a sprint. A safe and balanced routine will stave off injury and you’ll see nice gains.

I find a 1 on, 1 off schedule easier to follow. There are members who have reported good gains with such a schedule. It seems consistency is more important than how you structure your time frame.

Titleist - Oh yeah, I’m totally sold on the marathon approach. No rush here. And I figure with my goals (+.5” BPEL, +.25” MSEG), I’d rather build up right then as fast as humanly possible.

IggyP - Thanks for your answer. I may eventually switch to a 2 on, 1 off schedule, but since I’m still fresh, I dunno.. In my mind just seems like a better ease in approach.

My routine is kinda all over the place in terms of frequency, but generally I try to get 5-6 days of PE in each week, with 1-2 days of rest. I would think the more consistent you can be, the better, especially as a newb, but it’s not always possible.
