Smoking Cigs With A Rock Hard Erection!

I know you weren’t looking for advice on quitting, but try the Patch. If you can do it cold turkey then you are a better man than I. Personally, I don’t think I could have made it without the Patch. I smoked for 12 years, and when I finally decided to quit, I was up to 2 1/2 packs a day. I didn’t do like some smokers do. I call them conversational smokers. That’s people who light a cig and only take two puffs, because they spend the whole time talking and swinging their arms in the air for dramatic effect. When I fired up a square, I smoked it quick and all the way down to the cotton. I just want you to know if I can quit, you can too. Also, find something to do with your hands. The oral fixation thing is part of the habit.

Now to answer you question. Quitting was the first best thing I did to improve my erections (of course pumping/PE was the second best thing). I just felt better physically, and I could breath for the first time in years. So stay strong and good luck to you my friend.

IIRC, the reason the tobacco companies all ended up in multi-billion $ lawsuits starting a few years ago, was not simply because tobacco was found to be bad for you - It was because some of them commisioned research which showed cancer, and then merrily went about saying it was safe!

http://www.toba ccofreedom.org/ … ncer/index.html

Also IIRC rather than go completely bust over night, some of them obtained permission to pay their hefty fines slowly - out of future profits. So they need a few more cancer candidates to roll-up, roll-up, to fund all the compensation to the existing cancer sufferers. It would have been more moral to have bankrupted them, shared out all the money to the victims, and let anyone after that who still insisted on smoking to grow their own. Fortunately most people are too damn lazy to do anything for themselves, so there would not be many smokers left.

And my 18 y/o daughter and her freinds smoke, and it brings a tear to my eye as I type this. This is not some fooling around, this is real.

I'm fed up of having a signature!

I chain smoke and have superb erection quality but then I’m a healthy bastard.

I know it’s fashionable to give up smoking and drinking these days, or indeed anything fun, I personally think it’s more important to live life to the full rather than worry about everything that might be bad for you.

This forum is full of little worries that would better be taken out and shot at dawn than explored in depth with pop psychology (psychology is mostly crap anyway). Whether your erections might be dented by smoking is one such thing. If you aren’t a lard ass, occasionally leave the confines of your car to perambulate, and don’t have a dent in your couch the shape of your ass then you can probably handle taking most drugs and some make sex a different experience altogether.

Thunder's Place: increasing penis size one dick at a time.

Momento, I beg to differ. Although, I have been accused of being a bit of an armchair psychologist from time to time, the effect of smoking tobacco on erections has a physical basis, to do mostly with blood circulation. That is why heavy smokers who live in cold climates often complain of cold fingers/fingertips.

Yeah I use to feel the same way about life. And the price for this is Hypothyroid/diabetes. Now here is a question for you. Tell me which one is more deadly hypothyroid or diabetes?

Pepsi Pepsi Coke Pepsi! I was a chain pepsi drinker. When I quit the sugary shit I went to the diet shit. The sugary shit is linked to diabetes and the diet shit is linked to hypothyroid disease. I would commit the ultimate evil mixing Coke with Pepsi!

I may have a pepesi once a month right now I’m drinking that new pepsi with more caffeine and ginseng. It will take me an hout to drink it because it taste like crap!

Dude, smoking is the new great evil. They blame everything on smoking- shit that has no connection at all. Back in the puritan days they blamed everything on evil witches and the devil. I’ve been smoking a pipe and cigars since i was 17. I’m 38, now. I have incredible stamina, agility, strength, lung capacity, never get sick, heal like a lizard, and get erections so hard that they, sometimes, hurt. I get morning wood every day, and, if I’m not careful and I let my thoughts stray, I sometimes get “unwanted” erections at work. People blame tobacco for everything so that they can have an easy scape goat. If it’s the smoking, you don’t have to work on other health aspects.

The truth is , they have no idea why people get cancer. They think it may be genetic and loads of different things can set it off. In fact, scientists studying aging are trying to understand cancer cells because, unlike normal cells which stop renewal after a certain time, cancer cells over-renew. The idea is that if they could understand what causes one to happen, they could understand and control the other.

The medical community is always talking about medical fact, but the truth is that there is no such bird. It’s all medical opinion. Today’s “medical fact” is just a past misunderstanding of the evidence when tomorrow comes. Just look at history. Things that doctors swore by only 10 years ago are outdated and known to be incorrect, now. Medicines that were miracle medicines 10 years ago, have been yanked from the market because they are dangerous or even deadly. How can you put faith in such “knowledge”? We may think we’re hot stuff, but we really know squat about our bodies.

Look at all the “information” about the risks of smoking. It’s largly circumstantial or annecdotal. Studies have had figures and standards fudged to create a desired outcome. A good example of this is the way they bent their own rules when they “proved” that secondhand smoke was as bad as asbestos. The rat testing is often rediculous in it’s extremity; exposing rats to so much smoke in a contained area for outrageous amounts of time, far exceeding the average smoker’s exposure. Oxygen and water are necessary for life , but both can hurt you if you are exposed to too much.

Scientific process dictates that, in order to prove something, you need control groups. Without control groups, you can not rule out other environmental issues or conditions.

So, until they take babies, without cancer or other possible genetic flaws in their families, isolate them in a two control groups with strictly controlled environments(ruling out any other causes) , strictly controlled diets and exercize programs, then follow those groups of people until death, recording and analyzing the resulting data, the dangers of smoking are just another BS thing that they are pushing. At one time eggs were evil, now they are not. Pork was evil, now it’s the new white meat. Alcohol is evil, but it’s also healthy, as is chocolate, coffee, and a billion other things. Non-smokers die of cancer. They also can be unfit and unhealthy. On the other hand somokers, like me, can be outrageously healthy and live to ripe old ages. Remember George Burns? Most of the people over 100 that they interview in the media smoked most all of their lives or still smoke. I recall one interview in particular. This lady was over 110 years old. They asked her if she had any thoughts on her longevity. She said ” Well, I quit smoking…last year.”

The war against smokers is all about revenues. Make the general public “see” that they are evil, then take their money. Hitler did it with the Jews. Our government is smarter than that. He took all their money at once and then rendered them incapable of yielding more. Our government just keeps on milking smokers so they have a continuing asource of income from the modern “evil” people who are “harming” society.

If tobacco was really harmful, would they not ban it, as they have done so many other things? Cigarettes have funded most of our wars, through tax. Most of the cost of tobacco is tax. Ol Uncle Sam gets more from tobacco than those “evil” tobacco companies. Think about it with an opened mind. No one trhinks about much of anything with an open mind, anymore. Most people obligingly think what they are told to think.

100% of non-smokers will die.

It is not the tobacco per se. It is the other chemicals they put in the tobacco to make it addictive! It is the addiction factor that is killing smokers.
Tobacco in it’s natural state left alone without genetic manipulation and adding jet fuel to it is a great topical healing herb.

You know tea and coffee use to be villainized to but now we have emerging evidence that both beverages have health benefits. I worked with to many pulmonary patients to know that smoking or second hand smoke is a contributor to what is killing them.

Water. Man made processed shit is bad for you. Sugar is bad for you. Simple carbohydrates are bad for you. It’s not what we’re designed to consume. Also, remember: anything in excess can be harmful. We don’t , on the average, drink enough water. One of the purposes of water in the body is to remove toxins. Flush it out. As they say “the solution to polution is dilution”. You can’t replace a healthy water intake with soda.

I smoke, but only natural tobacco without fillers and chemicals. If I set my pipe or my cigar down, it goes out because there are no chemicals to make it burn up. My tobacco produces a lot more smoke than chemically enhanced cigarettes. One of the first chemicals introduced into tobacco, for the benefit of non-smokers, was a chemical designed to reduce the amount of smoke.

Plus, there are genetic factors. Some people are healthier, stronger, smarter, taller, shorter, or what ever than other people. No one’s body will react exactly the same to every stimulous.

It’s part of natural selection. In a natural world, the weaker people would not survive to reproduce and the species would be constantly maintaining a certain level of quality. We have lifted ourselves above natural selection by keeping the weak alive long enough to reproduce.

Anecdotal evidence is not scientific fact.

All of what we eat is shot up with chemicals. Meat, vegies, carbs, whatever. It’s full of harmful chemicals that are having harmful effects on us. I don’t hear anyone bitching about the food.

If you wish to be healthy , you have to exercize caution about what you consume- whether it’s eaten, drank, or smoked.

Natural selection exist among animals and plants. They have no soul. At leas not like we humans do. This is what Hitler believed, exterminate the races he so deemed inferior. Superior and inferior genes is a matter of opinion. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Example when I was young they told me I was retarded, slow and did not learn like other children. They were wrong in their analysis. They indeed were the retarded ones. I was not instead I was a brilliant child and actually was bored with the fundamentals of peon education.

As far as sodas go you are correct. As far as natural tobacco you are also correct. But I think this is thread is about the really bad stuff people are smoking. Perhaps if smokers switched over to natural tobacco it would be better for their health.

First simple fact: any Med is advicing you, nowaday, that smoking could be bad for your sexual life; this is different from this other sentence: smoking is bad for your sexual life.

It’s not a little difference: Med’s say alchol is bad for your sexual life - not could be bad.

This simply means that there aren’t empiric proofs that smokers have badder erection than non-smokers.

I’ m a smoker, and I know a lot of smokers; never I have heard that they have erections problems more than non-smokers. It seems the opposite: non-smokers are often people slightly iper-fobics, just the kind of people that get anxious at the idea of a sexual intercourse for a million of reason: germs, social blame, size of their penis (yes!) and so on.

I know: what I’m saying it’s a little semplicistic, but remember that I’m not speaking of my thoughts; I’m speaking of real life experience, if it’s clear what I mean.

Smoking maybe is not good for erections; but for sure, isn’t SO bad. If you take anti-anxiety pills, in example, you’ll note after a matter of weeks that your erections are going bad. Same with alchool. Same with blood-pressure medicines.

Smoking is bad for your healt I think; I can’t say how much, but at least a little for sure. EQ affected by cigarettes? Maybe, but I don’t think it could be in the podium of potential causes.

I find this interesting.

I used to be a big abuser of Amphetamines, Ecstacy, Cocaine, Cigarettes, and Marijuana. I smoked cigarettes and marijuana all the time, and did the harder drugs almost all the time. Nor did I eat very well.

My sexual function was good, or at least so I thought…

Until, for some reason, I got a mild case of erectile dysfunction. And I’m only young.

If that won’t make you change, then nothing will; I changed my ways.

But what Memento says reminds me that it’s different for everybody. Moderation in all things is doubtless the key. As long as you use common sense and make at least some effort to keep things within reasonable bounds - rather than trying to push your body and mind to the limit, with the conviction that you are a superhero, like I did for years - you should be able to handle most drugs, which are VERY VERY fun, by the way.

Unfortunately for me, my body had its limit, as did my poor penis, and now I must abstain if I want to enjoy good sexual function. Why this happened is a mystery. It seemed for years that nothing could stop me, then, one day, KAPUT!

:monty: Don\'t forget your KEGELS! :monty:

I’m really learning a lot from this thread, all of the different opinions are great. I for one believe that smoking is bad for your health, I don’t care if its cigs, pipe, natural tobacco or what. I do believe that different people respond to tobacco differently. Me and my cousin started smoking around the same time, and we are the same age. I noticed at age 25 that my erections were not as hard as they once were, but smoking never effected him that way. Once I decided to quit I noticed an improvement in my erections in as little as 2 months (among other things such as breathing better).

One thing that really tripped me out, was hearing stories about older relatives from my aunts and uncles. My grandma and grandpa were very heavy smokers and drinkers. My grandmother died of lung cancer when she was 84 years, and my grandfather went on to live for another 3 years before he died of prostate cancer. He never had any smoke related illnesses.

So with this said, it goes to show that people react differently from the unhealthy things that they do. Smoking may not reduce the erection quality in all men, but it does in some men…I am one of the men who are effected. And I know I should quit and I am trying really hard, smoking maybe 2 cigs a day, and sometimes I don’t smoke any at all for the whole day.

I am still getting erections, and they are pretty hard, I’ll say at 90% give or take. I would like to gain my ‘100% dick turning red’ erections again which is why I’m trying a bit harder to change my unhealthy lifestyle. But until I do quit the habit for good, just want to know if doing PE will still do me some good as far as gaining harder erections, or at the least, maintaining the erection quality I already have?

9inchtail: Since you’ve been on and off for so long, I’m sure there’s nothing new I can tell you.

But if you can go a whole day sometimes without cigarettes, I’m sure you’ll be able to quit for good. It all depends on how much you really want to do it. I quit without patches, nicorette, none of that stuff. I just really wanted to quit; I had had enough.

Think about all that you’re throwing away by lighting up. From my perspective as an ex-smoker and ex-druggie, there’s nothing more stupid than smoking cigarettes. I miss drugs sometimes, but I never miss cigarettes. You get a tiny feeling of well-being from smoking a cigarette, and when I think about it I used to put them out halfway through because they made me feel nauseous. Then I lit up ten minutes later, and ended up feeling nauseous again. It just SO UNHEALTHY. They just mess with you in so many ways: appetite, sex drive, hygiene, you name it. And all the chemicals they stick in there! Not to mention one day you may end up coughing yourself to death with lung cancer. Also the money you spend - 10 dollars here in Canada for 25 cigarettes! I can’t believe I used to crave that shit. If you weigh the pros and cons, its just ridiculous.

Not worth it, bro, good luck with your efforts when you finally decide to stop. YOU CAN DO IT! It’s so easy from where I’m standing. It’s really not as hard as people make it out to be. But, as you said, some people react differently to others.

Anyways, I hope you do quit, and can look back in the future and laugh.

:monty: Don\'t forget your KEGELS! :monty:

I quit smoking back in December, pack a day habit of 14 years. My EQ has always been great….actually, it’s starting to wane now, I just turned 30 and am with someone who keeps me satisfied more than any other women I’ve been with, getting a bit hard to keep up sometimes. But anyway, yeah, smoking, or lack of smoking did nothing to my EQ.

Try spirulina supplements to help you quit. Did wonders for me.
