Opting for circumcision

Stay natural. I’m uncut and happy for that. In my country 90% are uncut. For me this is a scary thing. Don’t do it !

I am uncut but would love to be cut. The only problem is that being cut at such a time of my life(24) I am afraid the scar will heal very different that that of a young boys. Don’t want it to look like some one has took an angle grinder to my member.

Those who have been cut as adults mentioned that they had to avoid erection (or suffere nasty consequences) during the healing phase. How on earth does one avoid erection during sleep?? Does your dick inevitably bleed all night?

It’s just simply mutilation. I have yet to here a good reason why this is performed. For religious beliefs - What a fucking crock of shit that is. Why don’t you cut your eyelids and earlobes off as well :)

What other crazy things have people done to “fit in”.

I asked a friend of mine, a Nigerian nurse and midwife who is very religious, why God would put a foreskin on a penis if it wasn’t for a specific purpose. She knows I’m in the anti-circumcision crowd. I thought I could show her that circumcision was going against a natural function (of course I wasn’t expecting to change her mind about circumcision, I only wanted to give her a logical reason against it based on her strong religious beliefs). To my great surprise she said God put the foreskin there “so it could be cut off.” Now that’s backwards logic if I ever saw it! :-s

I am uncut. When I was born there was another baby boy in the hospital that was circumcised. His penis became infected to the point that amputation was considered. He did recover with his penis intact. My mother decided that there was no way that they were going to cut on me. A few years ago, here in an Atlanta hospital, a similar situation developed. The baby’s penis had to be amputated and a sex change operation was performed.

That made me laugh out loud :)

I had never seen or taken any notice of another guys penis before finding this site so did not think I was any different.

In the past some my ex girlfriends asked me if I was circumcised. I always replied that I did not know. I guess they thought I might have been otherwise they would not have asked.
My last girlfriend asked me, she thought I had been.
I finally plucked up courage to ask my mother (I am 37) last summer while we were watching Nip Tuck (the one where he circumcised himself ouch!!) and she said no I am not circumcised.

So I guess I just have a short foreskin?

This is an interesting question. I dont know if your body “knows” better, but nightime erections went out the window for a while.

I think over time it will be very rare that this surgury is performed. Just like the earth was flat, and the universe revolved around the earth - we learn over time :)

I am cut and wish that I wasn’t. Religious reasons for circumcision are not valid for anyone who recognizes the gospel or new testament.

I have a friend who is circumcised like myself, the funny thing about this guy is that he is anti-everything that he considers to be unnatural, he hates taking any medication, won’t take any pills, won’t get vaccinations because he is afraid of needles, hell he can’t even watch a diabetic inject insulin, yet he for some reason loves circumcision.

Does anyone actually know the “origin” of circumcision. I’d like to know when, why, and how??

Not anything serious, but my head has very little sensitivity as a result of being exposed all the time.

Also, lets just say that I have ‘first hand’ knowledge that I prefer an uncircumcised penis.
