Intercourse while female on cycle

Most likely it’s your imagination.

I once had a test done, since my GF saw some skin changes, and the (female) doc called in another (female) doc to look at my glans - kind of embarrassing for a 20-year old - and then said, no those are just skin changes, nothing to worry about. And then the following discussion took place.

Doc: “Has your GF complained about itching, or any other symptoms?”
Me: “Well, yes she has.”
Doc: “Did she complain before or after noticing this?”
Me: “Uh… after.”
Doc: “I thought so. That’s usually the case. Don’t worry.”

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

But if you really have itching (crabs?) then you shouldn’t wait 3 months.

Okay so I was wrong about it being 50/50 it’s actually 70/30 30 percent being women and if you look on that page it shows 75 percent of the women who are infected is through heterosexual sex.

The data I was questioning was actually for this assertion you made:

like I mentioned many sites state that it is pretty much impossible with the given odds that they give for a male to get transmitted from a female through way of only vaginal intercourse

Where did you read that? I have read that HIV transmission through oral sex is pretty unlikely (though not impossible). Something to do with the enzymes in saliva I think. But I think that HIV transmission through regular hetero intercourse is very possible indeed.

Horny Bastard

I don’t have a direct link to where I got that fact where it’s very difficult to get HIV from a female through only vaginal intercourse, almost most links will tell you the same, most of intercourse transmission is through anal sex especially the receptive ones. And there has never and I mean never been a case of transmission through oral sex, of course all other STDS through oral is very much possible.

I read an article once that stated something like the risk of getting HIV from an infected partner via vaginal intercourse is 700 to 1 while with anal sex it’s 20 to 1. That’s why quite a few people think they’ll take their chances if they are only having vaginal sex and not worry about protection.. There are plenty of other nasty STD’s to worry about though.

Agreed other STD’s are contracted easily through vaginal intercourse.

I am all in favor of an open discussion about the risks here, but I think it is important not to give people bad information or minimize the risks.

What I have read about oral sex is that there are documented cases of people being infected with HIV from oral sex, meaning, the receptive partner was infected from semen in the mouth.

Receiving oral, from what I understand is very low risk, in that saliva is inhospitable to the virus. I couldn’t find any reported cases of HIV transmitted by receiving oral.

Vaginal sex is a different matter, and I disagree with what you say here:

I have not found a site that gives specific odds, but I have not found a site that says most transmission is anally either. In fact, here it says that in much of the world, vaginally is the primary means of transmission:

Yes, it is possible to become infected with HIV through vaginal intercourse. In fact, it is the most common way the virus is transmitted in much of the world. HIV can be found in the blood, semen, pre-seminal fluid, or vaginal fluid of a person infected with the virus. The lining of the vagina can tear and possibly allow HIV to enter the body. Direct absorption of HIV through the mucous membranes that line the vagina also is a possibility.

The male may be at less risk for HIV transmission than the female through vaginal intercourse. However, HIV can enter the body of the male through his urethra (the opening at the tip of the penis) or through small cuts or open sores on the penis.

I looked at the CDC site, the San Fransisco aids site and others, and all say males can get aids from vaginal contact, that the female is at more risk, but most won’t give odds, probably because they are not well established.

The problem is that HIV isn’t that easy to transmit, and even with anal sex with an infected partner it is not certain you will get it. So people start playing mind games with "the odds" but the fact is you are putting yourself at risk, just like Russian roulette.

Horny Bastard

Okay guys here’s an update, bad news.
Starting last week (which was the third week after with this stupid encounter) my left testicle started to itch a lot. Now just yesterday I noticed a pimple on my left testicle. It’s not noticeable when it’s dry but when it gets wet from shower or something you can see it. It is red and white. So obviously it must be herpes. The problem is I don’t know if I got this from my past experiences or this one. Well let’s say it’s from this one again she was bleeding during sex so she was on her rag. I used a condom the whole time. I understand that herpes is transmitted through skin to skin contact and obviously my penis did not get in contact with her genital areas because it was covered with the condom, but since she was bleeding the blood may have dripped on my testicles so my question is that possible from vaginal fluids or blood to get herpes that way or is it just skin to skin contact, if it is just skin to skin contact I am sure I did not rub my testicles against her vagina ( I mean who does that) Responses would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Also one thing I forgot to add, since there are no signs of herpes on the penis itself except the left testicle, I mean I am sure my penis will come in contact with that testicle because of sleep, exercise, and etc. So does that mean it will start showing up on my penis as well?

Also I like to point out all my past sexual encounters that were high risk activities.
The first ever girl I’ve had sex with I didn’t use a condom with her once and only vaginal intercourse with no oral intercourse.
Another one was the same vaginal intercourse with no protection but we also did oral on each other.
Another girl with the same as above vaginal and oral non protected.
Another girl with both vaginal and oral intercourse with no condom.
Another girl with non protected oral intercourse.
And this stupid one although I was protected with a condom she was bleeding throughout sex.

I am 22 and have been sexually active for 3 years now. And I have a total of 6 risky sexual encounters each being 6 different girls. I know that all it takes is one risky activity to get an STD or even worse HIV but usually that is not the case right, I would assume it would take much more risky activities to contract these diseases. I know I’m probably just saying this to make myself feel better but isn’t that the truth?
Sorry for post after post it’s just I can’t stop thinking about it and I hate that HIV is never certain until you take the test 3 months after the risky sex encounterment. But looks I freaking have herpes now.

Sorry to hear about the itchy pimple area, but I’m not sure it sounds like herpes. Have you tried typing “herpes sores” into Google Images? Does anything in your genital area resemble the images you see (even a milder version)?

Well I’ve researched a lot about herpes and yeah the pics that they show when you search are like crazy severe cases of it of course it doesn’t look like that not even close. The other thing is we don’t grow pimples on our testicles naturally like around our face, back etc. It must be herpes or genital warts. It’s just I’m wondering if it’s from this encounter with the girl on her rag, again I used a condom but of course she since she was bleeding I’m sure some of it got on my testicle but I am sure herpes is only spread through skin to skin contact not by fluids.

Irritated hair follicle looks like a pimple. And yes, they can show up for no good reason too, although most often in conjuction with plucking hairs.

Well do irritated hair follicles that look like a pimple sting when you touch them? Because the pimple I have sometimes stings when I touch it. And let’s say it is herpes I’m afraid it’ll start showing up on my penis which I would assume is much worse than it being on a testicle, I am worried because obviously my penis will contact my left testicle at some point during sleep or something.

Yes, when I get an irritated follicle / pimple it hurts to touch.

Simple experiment: get some of that antibacterial stuff used for cuts and wounds - Neosporin, I think and see if it kills off the pimple.

If it’s an ingrown hair: hobby - Ingrown hair
