I think I feel an abnormality on my testicle, cause for concern?

This, in my mind, is not PE related. I was just playing with my balls, and I felt an abnormality, a growth, that was on my right testicle. It is sore. I don’t know if I’m imagining things but I remember Tom Green telling me to feel your balls since he had cancer.

Do I monitor this? Do I go see a doctor? Do I rush to ER? Do I keep feeling?

I’ll try to answer any questions if you have some.

I would schedule an appointment with a urologist as soon as possible. I would not even go to your regular doctor as he will probably just refer you to the urologist and that would just waste more time. If you really feel like it go to the ER. What could it hurt? You might get a fun ultrasound of your balls. I got kicked one time there and they did an ultrasound. It was pretty cool. But seriously, get to the doctor. Your balls are on the line.

I am very unaware of how my testicles are assembled. I’m assuming there is some type of pipeline that goes from my testes to somewhere up? It’s still sore, but I can’t find the prominent shape I felt earlier.

Is there a correct way to feel your testes? Maybe I got some sac skin and it might have tricked me into feeling something I didn’t.

Go see a General practitioner. By no means is this an emergency. Visits to emergency are only justified if you’re in extreme unmanageable pain or if you’ve sustained a lifethreatening or serious injury.

You’ve probably just come accross your epididymus - a tube like structure adjoining the testes that curious cats like yourself are always mistaking for fatal tumours - and flared the thing up by your feverish attentions.

You probably have a most common thing.

A small cyst in your testicle. I forget the technical jargon for it all, but suffice it’s common and it usually forms at the top of the testicle in the area where the tube leading from the testicle actually joins with the testicle.
I have one also. After almost ten years mine has gotten quite big and I’m about to go back to the urologist to demand it be removed.

Here’s how it will go down:

You’ll go to the urologist and he’ll check it out. AKA: “cop a feel”, you could ask for a reach around to break the tension. Then he’ll schedule an ultra sound appointment with a young hottie of a female technician. After this appointment you’ll walk back through the parking lot feeling totally humiliated and kicking your own ass because you didn’t have the guts to ask for a happy ending. Although you really did want to after the amount of KY she globbed on your sack while small talking you up. Been there, done that, somewhere there’s a thread around here about this - oh’ the shame.

Then you’ll go back to the urologist and he’ll explain that you don’t have cancer, that it’s just a minor cyst, that lot’s of guys have it and that they don’t do anything about it unless it gets real big or painful. Hopefully you have insurance and your co-pays
won’t have you out mortgaging the farm.

From this point on two things will haunt you as you get older: Why you didn’t ask that smoking hot female tech with her KY all over your balls for a happy ending? and, the fact that you really would like this foreign growth removed from your sack, especially as it start to grow into a third nut.

Think I’m joking, I’m sure others could chime in here also.
I want mine removed, it’s getting huge and the thought of it somehow being related to the onset of cancer is really un-nerving, regardless of what the doctors have to say about it.

My Buddy just had the operation for this because his was getting to big. They had to put a drainage tube in his sack for a few days and over the last 2 weeks the incision has ripped back open twice on him. He said it wasn’t pretty because besides hurting like a bitch, it spewed all sorts of drainage all over. He hasn’t driven a car in 3 weeks now, but the Doc says; “it’s healing nicely”. I asked him if he gets to cut the Doc’s balls off when his fall off?

Okay, there you have it.
The good, the bad, and the ugly. Now you know what you’re up against.
Just do all us guys that have been through this a favor and ask that beautiful little college aged tech for the happy ending.
Either way, if she obliges or if you get thrown out of the office with your pant’s still around your ankles,
all us guys that have been here will have something to laugh about.

Here’s a link on testicular self-exam. You do need to know a bit about what you are feeling so you don’t panic when you discover your epididymus for the first time. The epididymus can become tender and sore; this is treatable. As is testicular cancer, when caught early.

Try the self-exam. If the thing you found is sore, have a doctor check it out. And he’ll tell you what to look for specifically when you do your own periodic exams in the future.

On the page you have linked, it says that cancerous lumps are usually on the front of the testicle. What exactly is the front of the testicle? Opposite to the side with the epididymus?

If I were you, I would see a doctor right away.

I have a cyst like floating around near my left testicle. It’s funny that rootcap explained it exactly how it happened. EXCEPT I DIDN’T HAVE A HOT GIRL AT ALL. I had an old man. He lubed me up and put that thing on it that shines light through and if light cannot pass through then you know it’s cancer ( I think at least). When it was all over I went back in to the waiting room. Then they called me in and ANOTHER doctor made me drop my pants and copped a feel. He then stated that it was a cyst and it’s nothing to be concerned about. He told me to wear boxer briefs or something tighter because I was feeling pain. I am now still feeling pain and might try to get it removed soon.

Can anybody help with the question? Cheers.

The front sides, from the doctor’s perspective.

It could be a torsion - which is ultra serious. If you don’t get that resolved quickly you could end up having to have your nut amputated. It could be a varicocele (an enlarged varicose vein on your sac) - not serious unless you’re trying to have kids since it cooks your sperm and usually takes a simple operation to correct.

It could be a cyst.

Who knows. What you MUST do is go to a Urologist. I have varicocele and wasted my time and money going to a general practitioner first. The ONLY thing a general practitioner will do is feel your growth and send you to a Urologist. I’d shortcut if I were you and go directly to the specialist.
