Are these symptoms of Chlamydia?

Before I ask my question, I want to address those that will say I should go get tested. Yes, I know. Standard advice. I have a very very specific question however.

I recently began sleeping with a woman. We both had similar circumstances before we hooked up for the first time. We had been sexually inactive for about a year before hooking up, and we had both been tested since our last sexual encounters with negative test results. She actually had been tested mere months before sleeping with me. Even so, my paranoia began to kick in, especially since I’ve had STD scares in the past. I began checking my penis frequently for signs of discharge.

Now sometimes I think I see discharge, but then I realize I’ve been recently turned on, so that makes sense. I’ll find that my penis is leaking after watching particularly arousing porn for example. I know that is normal. I also know that the inside of the urethra is a mucous membrane, and may produce moisture/lubricant by default.

Here’s my question. Can the moisture/lubricant produced build up to a point where it could be mistaken for discharge if someone like me is checking his penis every few hours out of paranoia? I’ve had times where I take a bit of toilet paper and dry the inside as far as I’m able to reach to get rid of residual urine so that I could check later to see if there’s any change. I’ve noticed afterward that there seemed to be some sticky fluid, and I hadn’t recently been aroused. I’ve also managed to cause some pain and mild irritation by trying to dry it, which I think might possibly be triggering what I am seeing. Fluid produced in response to irritation?

Again, I know the standard advice is to go get tested, but I had not only been tested, but also took a course of antibiotics just in case before I slept with this woman, and she gets tested even when she’s not sexually active. I just don’t see how either of us could have an STD given our circumstances. Would be interested in opinions from men who know about this stuff.

Does it burn when you piss?

Lots of things can cause discharge but discharge is different from precum. Men even get UTIs.

You know what to do if you don’t want your imagination to run away with you.

It seems to a little bit, but once again, I managed to greatly irritate the urethra, and that feeling has been slowly wearing off throughout the day. I think it may be nothing more than a reaction to me poking at it.

Worry about it if it gets worse. You’ve both had negative tests, after all.

I think that’s my plan. Although since I mentioned my concerns to her, I may have have to go get a test anyway if she insists before we have sex again. Hopefully not. There’s no logical reason for either of us to have an infection, and I know quite well my own propensity for unfounded paranoia.

Please don’t put anything dry into your urethra, that sounds horribly painful!!! It just sounds like precum. Is it clear or white? Thick or thin fluid? Have you looked this up on the internet and not ask for advice only on a penis enlargement forum??

Starting length, Spring 2003: bpel 6 3/8", bpfsl ~6 1/2", flaccid ~3-4" (never measured flaccid stretched or hanging flaccid; starting girth was probably ~5"-5 1/4")

Summer 2004: bpel 7 7/8", bpfsl 8 1/8", flaccid ~4", erect girth 5.3"

Spring 2018: bpel 7 1/4", bpfsl 7 5/8", erect girth 5 1/8"; Spring 2020: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth 5 3/8". Current - August 2023: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth mid shaft 5 1/4" (5 1/2" at base)

It’s clear, and it’s thin. When I touch it and pull my finger away though, there’s often a thin string trailing behind it. I’ve tried to look it up, but of course, no one writes about moisture/lubrication produced by the urethra under normal circumstances. They only say there are two kinds of discharge, the kind that happens when aroused, and the kind that happens when you have an infection. Not really helpful for the specific nature of my question.

Sounds like precum.

I agree sounds like pre-cum. Sometimes it just happens with little arousal, incessantly checking your dick can be enough. If it is not foul smelling, green or brown, I wouldn’t worry about it… but you can always go see your doctor (who will probably agree you shouldn’t powder the inside if your urethra).

No bad smell. No weird colors. I didn’t use powder. I used some toilet paper and have rubbed the tip against something a few times to remove moisture which probably caused irritation and prompted what I’m seeing. I’m going to stop worrying about it now. I think I’m just being paranoid.

Yup.

I may go get checked anyway. I woke up this morning after I highly sexual dream with a diamond erection.

Checked and of course there was liquid. I expected that. I thought it looked a different color than clear though. Not quite clear. Almost milky, which precum isn’t supposed to be, but I was really turned on, and looking at it in the bright sunlight might have made it look different, and I thought maybe some other stuff could have gotten mixed in.

Went to go to the bathroom. Got back in bed and checked. There was still a lot of clear, stringy liquid actually, which I thought should have been flushed out when I went to the bathroom.

I’m not aroused right now, so I’m going to wait and see what happens. Even if I didn’t have anything and she tested negative recently, there are generic infections not classified as STDs that one can get that wouldn’t be picked up on a test.

I’m thinking after today I’ll have a good idea on whether or not I want to get a test.

dude, its precum and prostate fluid or something natural and fine. Go get checked anyway, but it sounds like you are just producing the normal stuff to me.

I mean that sounds good, but should I even be producing the stuff when I’m not turned on? Rather than pay money for a test, I will wait until I am 100% sure something is wrong so it isn’t wasted money. With the busyness of the holidays, I won’t be getting any action for awhile anyway.

I’m getting a test done. I don’t know what I have, but I do know that what I am experiencing is not normal for me.
