White Hairs!

First of all I’m sorry if this is in the wrong section!

I am only 28, and I am begining to get scattered white hairs through out my hair. I’m not sure if it is because of stress, genetics, or what. I was wondering if there was any vitamins or supplements I could take to help reverse the white hairs back to there natural color.

Relax. I am greying and I have jet black hair. I saw my first grey ever at 15. Someone here mentioned some prostate formula which may help with hair switching colors. I am not sure, but I was the second reply in that thread too, I believe.

Just don’t be too hard on yourself, it is better to grey than go bald. Just dye it like I do. I have to dye mine soon also on the sides it is grey. A few more years and I will be Race Bannon from Johnny Quest.

28 does seem a little on the premature side, but, I’m sure there has to be tons of factors that play into that. Age, heredity, stress, you name it. I would say, work out, take your vitamins, say your prayers. Don’t sweat the grays man… work the stick! :-D

I think the salt and pepper look, if used correctly, could be a big honey magnet. So many young women have a thing for mature guys in good shape.
I don’t know if I have any grays because if they are there they mix in well with my gorgeous blond hi-lights, but if I started to noticeably “go gray” I wouldn’t sweat it - Mrs. Hook gets nice and warmed up by that Paul Newman thing.

Shit, grey hairs. You guys kill me. Like tt, I started getting grey hairs in my teens and it kicked in pretty good in my late 30’s. I’m about 30-40% now at 52 and I think it looks good. Wouldn’t dream of coloring it. For the same reason, any kind of cosmetic surgery isn’t on my horizon, I earned my looks.

OTOH, I sure don’t like seeing them in my pubs(or my nose,Yikes!). I keep it very short but there still are a number of them at the base where I don’t shave down to the skin.

is there a way to make all your hairs grey? I have a few and would like to have a full head of grey, I heard about a shampoo that inhibits the thing that makes color in your hair but I never found it.

If you’ve got mostly darker hair(not the gorgeous blond like the Captn) and you dye it grey, it sure is going to look wierd in 2 or 3 weeks when the dark roots start showing. Sounds like the upkeep kind of thing chicks are into(oops, sorry tt).

Dying my hair makes me look eviler, so I really enjoy it.

I’ve seen one or two grey hairs since last year and I am only 33. I don’t mind the salt and pepper look at all. But I want to wait until I am at least in my 40’s. Older men with grey hair look so distinguished to me. Stevie Martin went grey pretty earlier and has stayed that way. He wears it well.

I like my grey hairs (as long as there are not too many of them) I have then around my temples and sprinkled about my short cropped goatee. I think it does add an air of class and distinction to a man. Probably not something women in their teens or early to mid twenties could appreciate but I think that many women above that age range feel that the white hairs identify the person as someone thats been around the block and might have something more to offer than some young whippersnapper. In my case it helps because I have the face of a 27-30 year old and women my age still feel like they are going out with someone significantly younger and so the hairs counter balance that effect. In moderation—they look kinda cool—on men and women.
