When to use Viagra or Cialis?

Hi,

I’m 21, have been doing PE for about two months now… anyway, feel as if I can never really maintain a 100% erection when I want it to be there so have considered using something like Viagra or Cialis. Is this dangerous in a light dosage? Thanks…

It puts a strain on your heart. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Then again, people do things that are that dangerous all the time. Rather than attempt to solve the problem yourself, why not try and find the root of the problem?

A lack of 100% erection could be to do with so many things, including PE. What is your routine, and were your erections better before PE?

Also, are you happy with your unit? Obviously you’re doing PE for a reason, and your mental state can affect your erection quality directly.

Not happy with my unit at all… find that my erections have improved slightly with PE… find that supplements such as Muira Puama, Horny Goat Weed, and L-Arginine have all helped to some extent, as well as my routine. I don’t know if it is my mental state, am trying to think back to a time when I did have a complete 100% hard on for an extensive period of time and can’t think of it at all. I’m not overweight, but am a bit out of shape. So definitely won’t try anything until I 1) get into good shape and 2) am a bit more into my routine and supplements.

So both Viagra and Cialis put a strain on your heart? could someone please give more info as to the dangers of this?

Yeah I’m sorry I can’t give any clearer, or concrete info on this, but you don’t want to be reliant on viagra anyway.

My erections suffered, but it was purely mental. I didn’t think it was at the time, but learning to be happy with what I have has helped tremendously.

I would say:

1) Get fit(ter).
2) Stop smoking if you do.
3) Keep healthy, good diet, lots of water.
4) Take some anti-oxidants with your Arginine (not necessarily related).

How are you, from a mental point of view?

I don’t know about cialis, but I was told by a doctor in FL and a doctor in WV (both general practitioners) that viagra doesn’t do anything to your heart.

Now I’m just downright confused. I’m gonna have to dig some stuff on on the Internet and see what I can find.

Viagra and Cialis do not “put a strain on your heart.”

The confusion about this comes from the prescription guidlines. Men who have certain pre-existing heart conditions and men who require nitrate drugs for cardio-maintenance cannot use either V. or C. because the combination drops blood pressures to dangerously low levels.

Pfizer originally developed Viagra as an anti-hypertensive drug. As an anti-hypertensive it turned out to be pretty lousy, only dropping blood pressure marginally. During an early testing phase subjects reported that although their blood pressure wasn’t being much affected, they were getting gangbuster erections. Pfizer, realizing that they had accidently got on to something, went back to the drawing board and so Viagra was born.

See my thread in this forum “Cialis WORKS”…

Am fine, mentally. Am just wondering about this entire heart issue… is there a danger? Are there other dangers for people in my situation?
