So I’m seeing this as an opportunity for the win-win of a physical ball size increase that some of us are looking for as well as getting the great physical/health/sexual benefits that more T gives a man.

I’m curious if you understand the juice they created to be juiced onions (as in, liquefying onions and consuming what’s produced by this, pulp and all) or the juice strained out of onions that have been pulverized (as in leaving onion solids behind after filtering the liquid)? It may not matter but knowing how that many micronutrients work, I suspect the entirety of the onion is most effective compared to just drinking juice only (no solids)… You’re take?

For the conversion-challenged, how many grams of onions yields a comparable dosage if you’re doing the calculation for body weight in pounds instead of in kilograms?

Thoughts on if cooking onions reduces the T-enhancing effect?

My understanding is that they put them in a juicer, so there would probably be little to no solids.

I suspect you’re right about the micro-nutrient piece and will probably find a way to eat the pulp left over from juicing. I really don’t like eating onions, but more T is more T.

The human equivalent dose would be 0.8 grams per 11 pounds. So, 8 grams per 110 pounds and 16 grams of juice per 220 pounds.

I’m a little mixed on cooking food. Some vegetables like cabbage have nutrients that are lost with cooking, but I’m not sure if the onion is the same. I’ll probably do whatever allows me to consume it and gradually move to all raw and all whole onion.

Got me to thinking, “Well, at least my body is probably producing a tad more testosterone”. Yes, it has been shown that cold testicles produce more testosterone. Not nearly as much as the raw onion juice produced in rats, but still significant. Years back, in the days just prior to competition, Soviet weightlifters would bathe their nuts in ice water. Boosted their testosterone by 15 to 20%.

That’s pretty cool. I used to take cold showers for similar reasons.

Thanks for the math assist! I’m with you on eating them whole & raw which has led to some raised eyebrows around my place, but gotta respect the research and create the best opportunities for gains.

Best,

I wish you well but I attempted some exposure to cold with the same goals by jogging let’s say 30 minutes a day in 25-30 degree (F) weather in shorts & T-shirt for about a 2 month period (3-4 times a week). Froze my fucking nuts off for all my troubles with no discernible benefit I could tell in the T department but I recognize all of our bodies respond differently to various provocations and stimuli so who knows?

Regardless, I’ll keep following this as I’m really curious if there’s a way to get benefits to T levels from cold exposure w/o being as extreme as I was (and there’s just so much anecdoctal evidence and even some research indicating that this works for some). Again, good luck!

You may want to read some of the old threads that discuss increasing testicle size. Some of the guys swore that just a few minutes of massage everyday did wonders, and there are massage routines listed. There also is a lot of discussion about supplements. Seem to remember that one fellow said that maca had given him testicles the size of large hens eggs. Maca supposedly is known for producing more sperm, and it’s larger testicles that produce more sperm. Recall seeing some photos that looked impressive. Good luck.

I think maca is now a recent fad in the “diet pill” industry so makes me wonder if maca doing that is just sensationalism or if there is science to it. Cause every few years there is some new herb that people think does something until the next fad.

Wonder if red onions are a good substitute as I don’t think they give you as bad of breath?

Goal ?/?: BPEL 8.0 EG 6.5

So, would pickled onions do the trick? I used to love those when I was young. Would be easy to get hooked again.

Thanks for the input gents. Have tried Maca and what it got me, was super horny (but no physical increase of testicle size - Damiana did give me a modest increase for the 6 months I was on it, but it subsided when I went off of it and I just didn’t have the energy to keep popping pills when I knew the increase was temporary - thus, my continuing search for alternate methods).

And I think you’re exactly right Ardsee that these supplement/herb fads come and go, pushed by those with agendas, primarily that of making a buck. But when one is willing to experiment on what works for them individually, one can weed out some things that work (from all the noise).

For me, I know that amongst every other PE methodology or pill that doesn’t work for me, the jelqing/stretching as taught at TP undoubtedly works for me. And Creatine & HMB really do help me to retain/gain muscle mass (and I know that helps with my T levels). And Arginine & Citrulline taken regularly and at very specific dosages/times help me to maintain erections.

What I hope to understand (to your point magicwand9), is whether stretching my sack & massaging my balls has efficacy for me (and it would appear it does but not sure about the long term effects yet because I’m afraid to stop and find out and don’t want to self-limit additional increase). I’m hoping so, am putting in the consistent effort on a regular basis and staying tuned to this thread to hear from others rowing the same boat. Good luck all!

The researchers believe the antioxidants cause the raised testosterone levels. If red and white onions have the same antioxidant profile I’d imagine red onions would also do the trick.

But, I don’t know.

I like to experiment. Correction; I love to experiment but, in all my experimenting I’ve found that doing things in the prescribed fashion for a bit and then veering off course is far better than adjusting the settings from the start.

Anyway, you might be on to something with the pickled onions. If it’s fruitful - please share.

Have been consuming the stronger flavored yellow onions for almost a month now. Not in the quantity my father used to eat, but just a healthy slice or two every day with lunch. Will stick with it, as I definitely seem to have a bit more energy lately. (Also, would almost swear that my beard feels thicker these past few weeks.)

Living in the snow belt, it seems that every year from November through April I’ll slowly pack on 12 to 15 pounds. Just exercise less and snack more. (Then slowly will lose this weight over the warmer following six months.) In hopes of preventing this poundage gain, thinking about taking on a personal challenge. At the end of next April, will submit a full body photo, minus my face. (Don’t want a nude photo with my face on the internet.) This is quite a challenge for a guy coming up on year sixty eight. Especially for one who hasn’t even gone bare chested since his mid thirties. Will have to see if the courage is there come the end of April.

Take a look at the book The 4-Hour Body by Tim Ferriss. He basically uses himself as a human guinea pig for various experiments. One of them is increasing testosterone. He also has sections on weight loss, strength gain, running, swimming, sex, sleep, and hitting home runs.

It’s an interesting read.

He was delighted as it stiffened

And ripped right through his sock

It’s been a good year

I did research years ago into if anything really does naturally boost testosterone and nothing seems to long term not even weight training.
