Libido low, feeling sluggish

Fish Oil, is very good for libido, energy, and neurotransmitters. I would pickup some L-tyrosine in the mean time. It converts to dopamine, the key to libido. Get the blood test!

Spirulina and Chlorella algaes. Since I started taking these, they have totally changed my life and if I had to give up all supplements except two, I’d keep spiru and chlorella. The benefits are too many and too great to go into here, google it up and read a bit about it.

Nothing gives me a charge that enables me to really get up and go like spirulina, except maybe maca.

I’ve tried this stuff and it did nothing.

What brand are you using? Are you using capsules or powder and the brand if you would.

Thanks, Kevin

Since you are my property, the contents of your mind are also my property, and you will give them to me when I ask.

What are you asking about Kevin? Spiru, Maca, Chlorella? Are you asking about OP’s tyrosine rather?

Hard to believe it does nothing… these two algaes have completely changed my life. I feel like a different person on them.

I take 2 parts Vitamin Shoppe brand spirulina (22 dollars a pound) to 1 part Jarrow Chlorella (43 for a kilo from iherb).

I’ll give up any and every supplement, including zinc, before I give up these two. I have so much energy now I”m actually considering getting into running.

Funny you mention zinc - I noticed while taking zinc supplements for a cold, I had more energy than I’ve ever had (I also have constant problems with low energy.) Taking them now, though, seems to just upset my stomach and make me feel… not great.

How do you know if you have diabetes, outside of a doctor? Chronic fatigue syndrome? I always feel apathetic, and it’s hard to rise to do much of anything most of the time.

Going for 6 inches of girth, wish me luck.

Funny you say that Kazoo, I have a similar feeling usually, even in heavy situations it is almost like I am not there I can be so blank. I have pretty bad neurotransmitter deficiencies, dopamine being the key role in mood and feeling, lack of causing apathy.

Thing is, I can get really up for things - when I’m excited, I get really excited, when I drink, I feel like I could run a marathon. But I hit lows hard, and it almost feels like I can do nothing but lie around; even if I sleep, I still feel exhausted.

This might sound ridiculous, but have you considered Bipolar? That is very typical description.

If not, possible adrenal fatigue. I would get a full hormone panel done. Everyone should.

I know I’m a bit manic-depressive, but not to the degree that I think it’s clinical. The lows for me are also much lower than the highs… I wish I was more manic :)

And I’d love to get a hormone panel done, but I can’t really afford it… I think.

I was tested for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome earlier this year and it was confirmed that I do have it. I’ve had it for 6 years now. I feel the same way you do in that I’m very apathetic about everything and all I want to do is sit around the house and take naps. It’s very difficult for me to get out of the house and do anything.

Don’t buy into that labeling thing man. I’m the same way, but I am not going to be labeled. Have you tried tyrosine? It’s been a life saver for me. What you are really experiencing is probably a mild depression. Here’s what I am doing and it’s saving my life. Before anything do a Pysllium husk and bentonite clay (sonnes brand) shakes. Do 1 shake every 3 hours while eating light foods and not much meat. Soups and juices and easy to digest foods. No eating 1 hour before or after shake. Look up P+B shakes in curezone.com or salt water cleanse. Clean out your bowel tract. This is where seratonin is synthesized believe it or not. When your intestinal walls are caked with processed food over years, nutrients aren’t absorbed and seratonin is not carried to the brain because it can not be absorbed easily.

If your doing protein shakes, stop. The protein in these shakes is next to useless to the human body. This is of course my opinion. The shakes may help you bulk up, but if you can’t get your ass moving, who gives a shit about bulking up. Natural proteins for now after you’ve cleaned up your gut.

Then

AM rise, empty stomach

4 500mg tyrosine
2 500mg glutamine
1/2 multi vitamin
100mg 5-htp
2 st johns wort capsules
2 cups water.

1 mile on treadmill, or jumping jacks or anything that will get your heart moving. If your not sweating for a good 10 minutes, what your doing is useless. 10 solid minutes of sweating your ass off is all you need.
5 minutes of stretching

Breakfast
2 free range scrambled eggs (EGGS WILL GET YOU OFF YOUR ASS- DONT BUY INTO THE BS ABOUT EGGS, THAT IS THEY ARE BAD) Eggs are in a shell, so if you buy free range eggs, no antibiotics and another good thing is since they are in a shell, no fucking ASSHOLES can inject poison into them like other foods. Chock full of protein and minerals and nutrients, eggs are your friend. Trust me on this. IT’S #1 on the GOOD MOOD FOODS LIST. DON’T LISTEN TO THE BS, "EAT THE WHITES, NO THE WHITES ARE BAD, NO, EAT THE YOKE BUT TOSS THE WHITE, OH EGGS ARE GOOD THIS WEEK, BAD THE NEXT" FUCK THE MEDIA. TRY MY TEST FOR A WEEK AND SEE HOW EGGS WILL HELP YOU.
2 1200mg fish oil complex.

Mid morning
Some mixed nuts 1/2 cup with macintosh apple

Lunch - Something with protein. Chicken breast and salad or something.
Chicken and brown rice. Or tuna, or lentils and beans.
2 st johns wort capsules

Afternoon
Take a 20 min max nap if you can.
B complex
2000mg vit C
Vegetable shake - blend spinach, grapes, baby carrots with water.
makes about 4 cups and I drink it all.

After work
4 500mg tyrosine
2 500mg glutamine
1/2 multivitamin
2 st Johns wort capsules
100mg 5-htp

Dinner - Small amount of protein. Don’t overdo the protein after hours. Most of your protein should be in the AM and Lunch. The pancreas is the organ that breaks down protein. Here in the USA we overtax our pancreas by eating too much protein at the wrong times. When the pancreas can’t keep up with breaking down the proteins it gets overworked and this is my opinion only but I believe this to be the major reason for a lot of the cancers we see in these times.

Bed - 500 - 1000mg L-tyrosine and 1mg melatonin
Don’t take too much melatonin. Drug companies OD you on this shit. Your brain only needs like 1mg max

Don’t focus on what’s wrong with you. It will only get worse if you do. Focus on what’s right. Try my plan and I’ll
bet your feeling like a new man.

Remember. Cardio = blood moving = endorphins released = good mood = good sleep.
Eat several small meals per day rather than a huge ass dinner. This is devistation IMO.

Nuts, berries, fruits, vegetables and good proteins and plenty of water. Coupled with the amino acid therapy, exercize and good sleep will turn you into a new person. I guarantee it.

Zinc doesn’t really ramp up my energy levels like that, I take it mainly as an immune booster and for erection quality. But yes, I have fatigue problems that you mentioned. I always attributed it to smoking honestly, which I’m still trying to kick.

Taking spirulina, chlorella, and maca….especially maca has completely alleviated my fatigue though. I take the algaes daily and maca whenever I’m expecting a sex marathon or about to hit the gym.

Normally, I’ll only be able to do 20 to 30 pushups a day. After taking about 5 grams of the 4:1 maca extract though, I’m doing 65 a day.

You may have low testosterone. Have your Doctor test to make sure.
