Well shit guys, a month or so ago I bought a bottle (180 count-500mg) of L-Arginine at GNC and just followed the directions on the bottle.
Directions: As a dietary supplement take on capsule daily.
No wonder I have’nt felt any results yet! How much would you L-Arg vets suggest I take daily? If this helps I am 6’1- 220lbs.
I’ll answer. I took one more at bedtime. Woke up a few times. Each time I had major wood going. I’ll stay at 1000mg for now.

Is this dangerous? how does it work? Any side effects?
Also, will it benefit my weightlifting? or is exercise dangerous while taking it?

I’ve been taking 2000MG of L-Arg but I guess that isn’t enough because after two weeks of usage I havent seen no increasements in cum load. I’ve only noticed that it has been less thick which is good but thats because of the increasing of water i’ve been drinking. Im planning to increase the amount up to 3 G.
But if they put a 500mg dosage on it, then shouldn’t you stick to that? Must have a dosage for a reason, right?

Everywhere people are suggesting to take lysine with arginine to prevent herpes etc. Outbreaks and then link in previous post says the opposite. What do you think, which way is better and why? Tried to search forums and overused google but it looks like nobody has the final answer.

Not a bad idea. When I started, it gave me diarrhea. Now I’m up to 3000mg twice a day with no problems.
If that’s the case, I have to double the daily dosage like you do. I take 3,000 mg a day, but there are no dramatic effects, except that it gives me nocturnal erections. However, I am not even 100% sure if that is arginine that causes that because I also take ZMA before going to bed.
I remember reading a couple years ago that it’s possible that you might need to cycle L-Arginine because after a while it loses its affect. Be glad for those night woods, because they are very healthy and a lot of aging men don’t get them. Think of it has a health barometer.
I also take ZMA at night, but I take the L-Arginine for erection health as well as the bigger loads I get when I’m on it.
