How to gain higher testosteron levels

12

I’m doing weight lifting for 4 years now .. and I don’t see how can it boost you T. levels , simply don’t see the connection.

One of the most important things you can do to increase testosterone is to keep your percentage of body fat down. This also helps to keep estrogen levels down.

^^ and drink less alcohol…

(my failing)

Or take whatever Floyd Landis did to win the tour de france.

Because his testosterone was 400% higher than normal

I feel as if I should offer some advice:

- If you try to raise your testosterone you may only be hurting yourself. If you don’t know what you’re doing then you could end up with some terrible emotional/physical issues. If you’re already prone to gynecomastia (enlargement of male breast tissue), then this WILL make it worse.

- You should probably just have your testosterone measured (free T-levels and total T-levels).

- "Natural” supplements such as tongkat ali, tribulus, etc —-> CAN still cause “gyno.” It aggravated gyno in me (though it disappeared when I stopped taking the supplements).

What I recommend:

- Eat broccoli (try it raw) —- increases T levels slightly: same with cabbage/cauliflower
- Eat less soy (an 8oz cup a day is too much if you’re truly worried)
- Start using some whey protein isolate (preferably ISOLATE and not Concentrate) —- I’d shoot for 1-2 servings per day.or spread throughout the day in smaller doses.
- Get some regular exercise (cardio, weightlifting, etc) = running, jump-rope, swimming, sports + weightlifting + stretching: A regular exercise program (esp. Cardio) can greatly improve blood circulation
- Improve your diet (more green vegetables, fruits, more lean protein sources, less useless carbs, less saturated fat) and maintain low body fat (10% BF is good enough)

- Take a good multivitamin (I use “ALIVE” 3x daily) - get non-iron version (males usually don’t need the iron)
- Make sure you’re getting enough ZINC and/or take ZMA; ZINC is necessary for higher T levels
- Get enough essential Fatty acids (omega 3.. Omega 6/9): flax seed oil, fish oil —- common supplement
- Start taking Arginine: I use “Higher Power AAKG powder.” I take 1-2g 3x daily. I believe I purchased it at bodybuilding.com for price
- If you take the arginine, beware that it is an “oxidant” which can cause some damage - perhaps take a little more vitamin C and E for antioxidant protection. Ginseng is apparently also an antioxidant, but I’m making no recommendation because most ginseng supplements seem to do very little for me (I’ve used a more potent extract which seems to have some effect though).
- Ginkgo Biloba certainly for circulation and mental acuity! I find 60mg (standard) to be a weak dosage though.
- If you notice that arginine has excited your latent herpes, then lysine may help.

- Regularize your sleep, make sure you’re getting adequate sunlight (sunblock if you need it)

That covers it. If you’re already doing all/most of that and you’re still having trouble.and your T-levels measured ok.then I’d consult your physician (or you could do that now anyway).

OH, and look up how to increase testosterone on google — I’m sure broccoli will come up. One of those “10 ways to naturally raise testosterone” articles should suffice.

Definitely for testosterone boost is good to use the horny goat weed it helps your body to do better on testosterone. Try to find your individual dosage though, don’t think the dose written on the bottle will do. In most cases people need to consume more than the bottle instruction tells. It is not like injecting with synthetic testostrone which could impare production of your own.

Testosterone can convert over to estrogen fellas!

So don’t forget to take vitamin “C” and Zinc to block this conversion, which takes place in the liver.

Ginkgo Biloba also increases testosterone levels and I think green tea can to if you don’t take more than the required dose on the label of the supplement bottle.

Tribulis and yohimbe are unstable often neutralised by stomach acid.

Take them with ginger.

Also yohimbe should not be used if you have hypertension or prone to anxiety or nervousness. This also goes for ginseng as well.

You want to primarily focus on adaptegins that are not stimulants these are as follows:
Ginkgo Biloba
Green Tea
Golden Root
Boron
Zinc
Vitamin “C”
Arginine
Glutamine (Facilitates arginine)
Chromium picolinate

All ginseng’s are both adaptegins and stimulants.

Studies have indicated that heavy weight lifting can raise testosterone levels, I’ve noticed this myself, low body fat decreases conversion of testosterone to estrogen. If testosterone stimulators like tonkat are used, its best they are cycled. Studies indicate that sprinting increases growth hormone, I’ve noticed this myself. I’ve also noticed that long term aerobics (jogging, raquet ball, etc..) seems to decrease testosterone levels.

Yes I’ve noticed this to. My problem is I can’t lift 80% of my maximum on all machines yet. Still in the recovery process of an illness that lasted a long time. But I do do HIIT two to four days per week.

That’s another exogenous androgen which can lead your body to shut down its own production. Long term, it’s not a boost on top of what you already have.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

You can also try to eat more foods that help with better blood circulation and heart health. More exercise as well can help. I’ve read increasing blood circulation and overall fitness will help increase penis size and erection quality.
