ED and nerve damage

Since 2011 I’ve been a broken record with my criticism of any PE device that is a noose or compression clamp. I know some guys have made PE gains using them, however is the potential injury worth the risk? Noose type hangers and extenders cut off blood circulation and can pinch nerves. Ditto for compression clamps used to hang weight with (even more dangerous).

Dr. Richard Howard has been doing PE for over 35 years! He’s used and tried every imaginable thing! He used a compression clamp for a number of years until he caused himself nerve damage. He was unable to achieve an erection for nearly 6 months because if it.

I get no joy from reading or getting emails & phone calls from guys who’ve injured themselves!

I will have an eletroneuromiography of penis and perineum next week.

Quick update

I’m the author of the post, I injured 1year and 2 months ago. After injury I got a long flaccid penis and felt like it was detached, I couldn’t get 100% erections for few weeks, I had soft glans and pain in the glans. I was very anxious I barely slept and I went to work and forget everything they told me to do in about 5second. It was a very terrible time of my life. It was made by two things stress+physical damage. After 1 month I met a girl, I acted very strange because of my pain and damaged penis but in the end now She is my girlfriend since 1 year.

Too long to rewrite all the process I’ll just skip to today situation.

Today I’m half healed.
Physical point of view:
-I can have 100% erections, sometimes also morning woods, not always(I don’t care).
-I still have no feeling when it’s flaccid, If I “make it jump” by stretching the Pc muscle I barely feel something. When it’s erect it jumps normally.
-Glans is still soft but it gets filled. So the size changes but it’s not hard has before.
-sex is kind of Ok, but not very pleasant. I feel very few compared to normal, I almost don’t feel anything in certain position (when she’s on top). It hurts if I close her legs so that her pussy is tighter and that’s because glans is fucking weak and soft. But in the end I can have sex.
-masturbation still feels strange, I feel I’m less sensitive and glans is different and softer.
-I no longer have pain in the glans during sex, maybe because I’m trying to avoid certain position.
-I no longer have strange pain in the pubes. Neither the feeling of something sticking in my anus (bad feeling guys).
-it got smaller when flaccid, but sometimes it got kind of half hard flaccid.
-balls behave with up and down. Sometimes they are soft and feels like full of water, like detached with lower sensitivity. Sometimes when I cross my legs for 15minutes for example they go really up inside my body and it’s strange to walk with this tickling. I get tickling in my legs and in my balls in this situation.
-sometimes the ass felt strange like it’s full of water too, lower sensitivity and extraneous feeling, but it passes in 1/2 days.
-I sleep with just soft pants, no underwear (more freedom for night erection)
-i use slips or boxers that don’t let my penis free. So I don’t feel discomfort when balls or penis get loose. They may got loose but I don’t know it, only if they get too much loose and i need to adjust them in the pants.
-lower back pain, and even pain in the ass bone (I don’t know the name) especially with certain gym exercise like squat or lunges.
-still too low Testosterone. But I didn’t took any supplements. I start to go to gym and swim. I need to test it again. This may be a key factor for my problem.

Mental point of view:
-stess is lower, I sleep more (7.30h) but I think I need 8 hours. I go to swim sometimes and I think it helps to move all the muscles and for blood flow, few times also gym. Now I can remember what people told me more easily, but not yet as normal. Stress had distorted my memory.
-almost no headaches. Before I had this strange strong pressure in all my head I could talk or read I felt like I was in a bubble and couldn’t connect with myself and the others. This pressure is still present sometime but very little. I can talk and look normal. I can finally read again books, before it was impossible. (it may sound stupid or absurd for you but not for me)
-no more pain in the chest. Once I thought i was having an heart attack. This I think never happened again.

Once, few days ago, I played videogames for like 6hours after work and went to sleep at 2am, I didn’t slept much event the day after and I accumulated stress for this reason. My penis reacted going to the really beginning of the injury it really felt detached and long flaccid With extra skin on my penis when it gets normal flaccid. Really shit drawback. but today is back to the actual situation. So, stress, sleep, sports are a very important factor for your penis health.

I come here to read your comments sometimes every 1/2 months but I don’t answer very much and I try to avoid getting back to penis obsession. I try to think to something else in my life. I’d like to go to an other doctor in to have some suggestion, especially for back pain, ass bone pain, random ass desensitized that may be connected to the penis injury. I hope that with sport and less stress I may heal 100%.

If you have any question, suggestion, comments about my situation, please let me know.

Medical evaluation

Based on all the symptoms you describe, I hardly believe it’s all related to a PE injury. There’s something more going on and I suggest you get an appointment with your primary care physician as soon as possible to discuss all the various maladies you’re experiencing. Be completely honest with him / her, a complete battery of tests need to be done! The stress part of the equation is something that you need to disclose too. Some professional counseling in conjunction with the medical testing should be considered.

Thanks a lot for your detailled updates and log, Bunnybug!

I’m happy for your half-healing and wish you the very best and a complete recovery. At least you can have sex and get erections again, nobody wants to go through the ordeal you had.

The most important thing about a cock is that it works. Sometimes, we forget that or neglect this thought a bit if everything is fine.

You should never take your health for granted even when you are young, that is something that I learned again.

And I really hope I will go healthily go through my PE journey and definitely wont overdo it.

Have you tried any topical scar-healing ointments or anything like that? They seem potentially quite promising. I’m trying a regimen of daily topical iodine and occasional DMSO right now for a similar problem to yours.

Quick update after more than a year.

Now I feel mentally better! I’m relaxed, I’m fine at work and with my girlfriend is everything fine. I got my anxiety in control (I’m not anymore anxious), no more stress, toxic thinking or lack of sleep or thinking obsessive on my penis. I think I still had some problems one year ago, like dumbness and overstretch in the morning or some days but they are all gone since a long time that I don’t remember.

The only thing that remains is the lack of sensitivity, that still made sex not so enjoyable. But I’m fine, my relationship with my GF is fine and sex is sufficiently fine. The glans doesn’t feel and fill normal (still soft) but no pain. When is flaccid it look quite normal now, but maybe is just because I’m not thinking about it anymore so I don’t notice any change.

So, since the beginning of this time, the worst period of my life, I’m can finally say that I’m moved on, my life is filling with other priorities than my penis, but I’m not done yet.

Today I had some backbone pain, probably due to bad shoes, bad posture. I think It’s related to the muscles and nerves connect to the penis, because I had also there some tickling and pain when I had the penis trauma. Btw not a big deal for now.

Hope u all are going fine

After all this nightmare, any gains? Not to be rude but usually gains come after healing and repair.

Cheers 🥂

No gains but I don’t care: health >> gains

Hey, if you’re still experiencing any of these symptoms I think you should read my Iodine Journal thread. In short, I’ve had an unhealed injury for something like 8 years (maybe more) that left me with a totally flaccid spongiosum and soft glans.

Applying topical iodine for the last few weeks appears to be completely restoring funtion to my spongiosum. It’s a very old injury and on top of that I never took the proper time off of PE to allow it to heal, so I really didn’t expect anything to be able to help at this point but I’m pretty thoroughly shocked at how drastic the results have been. It’s just medical iodine that I got off of ebay. Also taking 500mg of vitamin C twice a day and doing some exercises but again, I never stopped doing exercises (stupidly) and the return of function to my spongiosum is so suddenly coinciding with the iodine that I’m pretty confident that it’s responsible. I hesitate to use the word miraculous but Iodine is well known for dissolving and healing scar-tissue so it makes sense to me.

I can’t recommend it more highly for those who have ED-inducing injuries! It’s very exciting for me to have this function restored after so many years, with just a few weeks of what has been a very very simple treatment.

Applying some medicine on my penis not knowing the dose and the mechanism involved appears quite dangerous to me, especially on a penis! Have you been recommended by a doctor who recommended this treatment? There may be some drawbacks that you are not aware. I’d love to try some solution too to fix this problem but I’m not willing to try anything that may put me in danger.

I hear you. My understanding is that povidone iodine is extremely safe. The biggest risk from topical application appears (from a cursory glance) to be an allergic reaction in those who are allergic to it. It’s considered to be a counter-carcinogen, if the cancer risk is a concern. If you want me to make a stronger case for its safety, I’d say that it’s not really a medicine at all per se, it’s an essential nutrient fro normal development of humans. On the spectrum of pharmaceuticals to herbs I place it much closer to putting vitamin E oil on your skin than dimethylsufoxide. The biggest argument I could make in its favor however is that it’s quite commonly used for the very physiological purpose that we’re using it: the healing of scar tissue.

I would humbly suggest that iodine is widely considered safe beyond question by much of the medical community but that’s ultimately my layman’s understanding. If you’re worried about its potential risks you should look them up and let me know if you come across anything.
