Overzealous pumping :::Blisters

Ok so on saturday/Sunday I went with some overzealous pumping and now have four pea size blisters filled with clear liquid on the glans.

I can’t bring myself to pop them and am simply applying natural cocoa butter to them to keep moisturised. They have gone down bit since sunday and on some of them I can see the red skin irritated underneath the blister.

They are quite irritating and can sting like hell, I think I am just going to have to ride it out

Any suggestions?

I have read pretty much all the threads here on thunders about others who have experienced similar, guess I just want some reassurance and I feel really stupid!

I definitely learned my lesson and will not be doing that again in a hurry!

I’ve typically pooped mine with a sterile needle. I used the leave them but found they would pop during the day and I couldn’t manage the cleanup up.

At what pressures/time are you guys getting blisters?
I’m new to pumping, so some insight on what not to do would be helpful.

Just wanted to run this past you.. I been advised that if I don’t pop the four blisters and drain em then the likelihood is the skin will stretch and not heal perfectly, and I would prefer to avoid any scars or cosmetic flaws.

So the plan is to pop and apply some Brulidine cream.

What do you say seems like a good plan? Is the topical application of the cream on the red sore under the blister gonna sting like hell?

It will likely sting. Of you leave it, the skin will grow back just fine.

I have read all the threads on here, a lot of people say pop and a lot of people say not to pop.

Now I am really confused! Maybe I pop one and see how that goes?

This is the advice I give to guys who get blisters from vacuum hanging, but the same applies to pumpers who get blisters too.

If you get a blister the size of a BB, leave it alone and in a day or two your body will absorb the fluid and more than likely the skin will re-attach.

However if the blister is larger, say the size of a pea, then sterilize a needle and pop it, press around the outer perimeter to help force the fluid out.

DO NOT attempt to remove the skin, but put a dab of anti-bacteria ointment like Polysporine or Neosporine on the area and cover it with a small band aid for a few days to prevent it from being irritated from rubbing against your underwear. If a few days you can start to trim away the dead skin with a pair of small cosmetic scissors or fingernail clippers. Once you’re completely healed up you can start pumping again, but learn from your mistake! I suggest to cut your pump session by 50% in Hg pressure and time until that virgin skin is conditioned again.

I pop because my goal is to utilize the first skin as a protective layer during the healing cycle. I believe not popping leaves a greater likelihood for an “uncontrolled” pop, basically the skin getting snagged and tearing back, removing the first skin.

I clean a pin/needle and give a small prick to the side of the blister and slowly push down with my finger to expel the fluid.

Then I bandage with neosporin.

If you can allow the first skin and fluid to settle naturally without breaking, this is might be the better approach. I just prefer to mitigate the chance of an uncontrolled tear of the first skin.

Still havent popped em.. I am still worried about infection more than anything else.

They are deflating.. Somewhat slowly.has been 3 days now.

It usually takes up to two weeks or more to recover if you don’t pop them.

Ok well one of them seems to have popped on its own accord.. The biggest one!!

I’m just thinking now about damage control ie keeping it sterilised and or moisturised!

Hope it heals fast. Now that it has popped you might want to keep it clean and dry. Just be careful and wear soft fabrics underwear.
When I had popped blisters even the drops of water in the shower caused some discomfort.
Be patient and it will heal soon.
