Minor Pop During Tugging

I do quick manual 10-second tugging sometimes between urinating and zipping back up during bathroom breaks: 10 seconds each out, down, up, left, right.

Today—and it has happened on maybe two other occasions over the past couple of years of doing this—while pulling down, I could feel a subtle "pop" right around the top of the base of the penis. Now, I assume this is the ligament, but it has never been accompanied by anything but maybe (and not always) very minor and fleeting pain, and I’ve never experienced any sensations of pain afterward.

Other than not tugging *too* hard, which I know not to do, and backing off for some days after this happens, should I be concerned that I am doing some kind of lasting harm? Again, I’m not really noticing any lingering pain or soreness or other unusual effects, so what is likely happening, and what else should I do to prevent it? Should I just stop tugging and only do my normal traction routine for stretching?

No lasting harm. You’re fine. The bark is worse than the bite.

Thanks for the response. I figured it’s nothing major, but I did not want to assume and do something dumb.

It would be irresponsible of me not to share information I know to be authentic in this regard; while yes, most minor pops are likely nothing major, you may want to reduce/modify your frequency, intensity, and/or technique, at least briefly until you feel your penis has acclimated to the conditioning.

I say this because I once had a Moderator on my own Forum (the 2.0 version of the 2010’s) who was doing light-to-moderate stretching per usual, heard a pop, and ended up having both serious erectile & sensitivity issues (immediately after this incident) for years before returning to normalcy. He’s lucky it wasn’t permanent, and as of today, I’m not sure if he’s ever actually returned to 100%.

Whether manually performed with our hands or devices (pumps and extenders), or whether we seek out elective medical procedures (injections and implants), penis enlargement is by its very nature an ELECTIVE ENDEAVOR. With that comes risks. Of course there are ways to reduce these risks, but they exist nonetheless.

This isn’t to scare anyone, and I’m in no way suggesting that the original poster (OP) experienced anything alarming, but Thundersplace taught us the importance of "PI’s" (physiological indicators) for a reason —> listen (sometimes literally) to your body.

I appreciate the cautionary warning. I did back off doing those particular stretches for a bit, and since then, I’m only pulling lightly in the downward position if I do the full series since that is the only position where I have encountered this sensation. Otherwise, I’m mostly just sticking to my routine of using the RestoreX extender two or three times per day and the Bathmate to pump in the shower at night for now.
