I’ve been wearing an ADS for a few months now and havent had any real issues. Yesterday, using the same routine, I wrapped it up, stretched it and then pulled the silicone tubes in place. About 40 minutest later I took it off and I had a big purple bruise. I believe the tubing had pinched the skin and cut off blood flow to a little area on top of my penis shaft! It’s been 24 hours later and the bruise is still pronounced, maybe a little less then before. I’m scared I destroyed this tissue! Is this somewhat of a common injury? I will definately stop until this is resolved, I hope that it can be resolved!

Sounds like a real bastard of a bruise. It will probably turn funky colors and get more painful before it gets better. That usually takes about a week.

Don’t do any extending, pumping, or jelqing until it heals; those will delay healing. A little light edging won’t hurt and will promote blood flow, which might help a bit.

While it’s always possible there might be serious damage, skin is pretty tough and heals remarkably well.

If the skin starts to peel or you develop an open sore, “you should seek medical attention” as the shills say. Otherwise, keep it clean and let it heal.

I have had issues like this in the past and they went away over time, I usually had/have the pinching near the head (about one inch down the shaft) where the sleeve joins the cylinder. After some time I have found ways to avoid this and often includes taking it all off and starting again. For me being semi hard helps when putting the device on and eliminating excess loos skin that seems to be the source of the problem. If you experience pinching always check the source because sharp pain is never a good sign and needs to be dealt with asap.

If the tissue still has sensation it is very unlikely you did any long term damage.

As AndyJ has said take a break from PE and encourage blood flow and healing.

That’s my main problem with the vacuum caps. Hanging, no trouble. Pulling at an angle as with an ADS, the edge of the bell sometimes digs in so much I wind up cutting the session short.

Maybe applying the device when I’m semi hard is a good trick and should add it to my practice.

The bruise is still there. If it was a traditional bruise I wouldn’t be quite so worried. I guess do to the nature of it being a pinch that didnt get any blow flow for almost an hour is what has me worried. Regardless, I think it’s a little let pronounced today. Thanks for all the feedback.

The cap digging into my hipbone is very annoying, but I have yet to find a better solution. I am considering getting a small piece of memory foam to sit between the bell and my body. I change sides every 40min to 80min just to alleviate the discomfort, but a better solution would be nice.
