Injury: Chronic Pain

Injury: Chronic Pain

I hope somebody has a similar experience. I had thrusted too deep and felt a pop - dorsal vein on top near circumcision. I’ve seen GP, Urologist. After two months, it’s still irritated but I am getting chronic testicle pain. Urologist issued ultrasound for testes, all came back normal. Said to wait it out, likely nerve related from swelling. Seems it may be pereneal nerve. Relaxing pelvic floor helps a bit, laying in bed or light walking, icing help the most. I did have about two weeks pain free, but it came back after I was too rough and apparently it wasn’t healed.

I wasn’t sure where to find help, sorry If this is not allowed. After getting dismissed by the doctors and it’s limiting my daily life I’m just looking for insight or similar experiences with injury.

How were you dismissed by the doctors? They did all the tests they could and found nothing wrong. What did you want them to fix?

Soft tissue injuries are very hard to detect and diagnose and the problem we have is people just won’t allow the proper time to heal.
