TreadHarder's Journey

TreadHarder's Journey

I’m new to PE and to this forum. I thought I would introduce myself and begin a thread for my journey.

I’m Chris. My starting stats are:
BPEL: 6”
MSEG: 5.5”

After a lot of research and some analysis paralysis, I decided to move forward with a kit from Total Man. It seemed to include the right elements and was affordable. I started today with week 1 of the Total Man routine.

It took me 20-30 minutes to setup the devices, and a few more minutes to figure out how to use them. The routine itself was about 60 minutes worth of active things and 2 hours of passive things. I did the active things in the bathroom. The routine starts with jelqs and stretches, which I did in the shower. Afterwards, the routine calls for using a compression hanger for 15 minutes with 2 - 4 Lbs of weight. I used 2 lbs to start, and it felt nice, actually. I enjoyed it. For the passive activity, I used a vacuum stretcher and wore it while working (I work from home) for 2 hours.

Everything was comfortable and felt good. The only aggravating part I can’t figure out is how to jelq according to instructions that say things like, “70% erect”. I’ve tried jelqing before, and I’m either 110% rock hard immediately, or I’ve just masturbated, and I’m deflating down to 10-20% or so for a bit. In the Total Man routine, there’s a recommended 2nd jelqing session after a short hanging session, and I was immediately rock hard again. So, I don’t know what to do about that. I rolled my eyes when I realized that the 2nd set was asking for 3 sets of 5 minutes each. It wasn’t painful at all - just annoying that I couldn’t control the raging boner enough (or at all) in order to follow the instructions. I would love to hear if anyone has any thoughts or recommendations on this.

Other than that, I thought it was successful. Afterwards, my penis is hanging a little heavy and longer, and that is fun. The routine says 3x per week, so tomorrow is a day off. I’ll post again on Saturday.

Welcome Chris. It can take some time for your penis to be “retrained” to distinguish between jelqing and masturbation. Try thinking of something very non sexual while working on it. Just want to emphasis that jelqing with a full erection can cause injury so please be cautious. Add an ice pack?

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Welcome. I love the TMS site. Lots of great info if you search through it. One point he emphasized which is so key is don’t start PE if your EQ is not 100%. There is a great group of helpful veterans here feel free to use the search bar.

Thanks 32quarters and BigFinisher.

I did my 2nd session yesterday (03/13/22). Everything went well. The Jelqing was a little easier this time. Maybe it was because I had sex that morning, and I also masturbated before the PE session. As mentioned above, the Total Man routine has me doing a second Jelqing session after hanging, and - similar to the first time - it was difficult at first to not be 100% erect. So I attempted to masturbate a 2nd time, but something about being a little oversexed and raw helped calm things down, and then I was able to complete 15 minutes of Jelqing at anywhere from 25 - 70% erect. I’ll count it as a win.

I haven’t measured anything and don’t plan to for a bit (several weeks maybe), but things continue to hang a little differently when flaccid, which I like.

Regarding “EQ,” I assume that means emotional intelligence. And I agree 100%. I like that part about the Total Man information as well. Regarding that topic, I will share a little bit. Historically, I am not someone who is great at execution. I dream a lot. And then don’t do the work to bring it about. I procrastinate. And I tend to stuff my emotions, because conflict is extremely uncomfortable. All of this leads to feeling rather disconnected from myself, meaning I lack clarity on the big things, like what do I want and why. What makes me happy. Consequently, I lack the drive to push through difficult challenges.

This is why I’ve never been able to stick with a workout routine long term. So, as you can imagine, I certainly have my doubts about my discipline levels for continuing this PE journey for as long as it will take.

The thing that gives me some hope is that I am coupling this journey with “EQ” work that is happening inside of a structured coaching program that has me working on achieving progress with physical, spiritual, relationships, and business goals. This program, not surprisingly, starts with an “EQ” foundation. I have to follow a structured journaling format for 1-2 hours each day, using the system for tackling the really hard topics in my life, which then leads to taking really hard action steps as well.

For me, the physical goals I am pursuing are mainly the usual: nutrition, running and working out. However, I decided that a PE journey would be something I could add to the mix on my off days that would be really fun and exciting. Again, it is something I’ve thought about and wanted to do for years, but I’ve procrastinated.

So we shall see how this plays out, but what I can say right now is I feel more drive for putting in the work than I ever have before.
