PE and No Fap Journal

10/31/23
Took the weekend off from PE. I only did 3 sets last Thursday and Friday. Same yesterday. Gonna try and get 4 sets in today if I have the time. Recently hanging has been taking longer because I keep getting an erection while wrapping. Still hanging at 6 lbs. Going to wait another week to bump up the weights. I decided to wait and measure every 4 weeks. Hopefully the gains will be more noticeable that way. I’m also still icing after the last set.

Nofap has been a struggle. I can usually only manage 3-4 days before relapsing again. I’ve been getting morning wood more often and sometimes in the morning when I don’t feel like getting up I’ll lay there and fantasize instead. I may need to look into getting professional help. It’s a little disheartening because I’ve had some success with nofap in the past but now I’m struggling to make it a week.

Taking a rest day today. I noticed some minor bruising on the underside of my shaft after hanging yesterday. Feeling a little sore and my EQ is noticeably worse. I’ll see how I feel tomorrow but may be taking a couple days off. I’m setting a goal to journal every day of November. I’ll plan to do it at night before I go to bed and have it be the last thing I do on a computer. I also plan on making it through November without looking at porn. This will be difficult but I have had longer streaks in the past so I know that I am capable of it. I just need to remember that I am worthy of the effort of quitting porn. Also a beat to shit dick isn’t going to grow and since I over-did it hanging I really need to recover.

I think it might help if I upgrade the DIY hanger I’m using. A nicer setup would make hanging take less time and be more consistent. It would also make injuries less likely. I might look into designing my own and 3D printing it. I’m also beginning to look into NIR as a means of heating before or even during hanging. I might start with a cheap pad from China but will likely design some sort of 3D printed NIR heating tube. It seems like the perfect way to warmup prior to hanging.

Do you have a support system? Your trying to commit to too many changes in your life. No fap takes a lot of energy and there may be a lot of things going on in your life beside PE. Just like working out, there’s a progressive overload and seasons in life. This is why an athlete switches it up and not only dedicate itself to the sport but find ways to do yoga or other things to keep it interesting. So the method you did to become successful at no fap before might not longer serve you this time. Get clarity and find your method.

I passed out last night before making a forum post so I’m doing it today. There was no visible bruising yesterday but I could still feel some soreness in my ligaments. EQ was a bit better than Wednesday and I woke up with morning wood, so I figured I’d be good for PE. I did one set of hangs at 3 lbs and it felt alright so I bumped it up to 6 lbs for the second set. I was able to go 20 minutes but felt a little too sore so I called it there. The plan for today (Friday) is to do 4 sets if possible.

Didn’t have any issues with nofap yesterday. I’ve been doing better with the self talk and showing up for myself when I have a craving. The difficult part for me is not going into autopilot and putting up some resistance when I have a craving. I just need to remember that this sacrifice is for my own benefit and I am moving towards becoming a better person.

Had a bit of a late night last night so I wasn’t able to post again. Not much to report though. My EQ is fine, been having morning wood for a couple of days. When I’ve got good EQ, it kinda makes it harder to hang because of how easy I start to get hard. I did 4x sets of 20 minute 6 lb. Hangs. I also got a roll of cotton wrap. Originally I had been hanging with only a thera-band but recently had been using a cut up sock as a cotton wrap. I like the cotton wrap over the sock but it also leaves cotton residue on my dick. I’ve also been making plans to make a NIR heating device out of IEDs.

Didn’t break the streak yesterday either. I’ve started to get back into nofap/ porn reboot content to try and learn more. From now on I’m going to make a journal entry every time I relapse going into the specifics of what was happening, how I was feeling, and the rationalizations I used at the time of the relapse. This should help me develop self talk procedures to tell myself whenever I find myself in a similar situation. Every day I keep the streak going is one day closer to becoming the man I want to be.

On an unrelated note, I had a physical recently and so far all the test results have looked good. Cholesterol was a little high but it runs in the family. The doctor believes that I may have Celiac disease. I’m still waiting on some more test results but I may have to start a more restrictive diet soon. It hopefully shouldn’t be that big a change from my current diet because I have a relatively healthy diet already. I also have a referral for physical therapy for my shoulder. It’s been making it difficult to follow an exercise routine while also dealing with a nagging injury.

It feels nice to finally be in a place where I can take time to worry about my health and well-being. Being able to exercise without pain and eat without any digestive issues should hopefully have me feeling much better and more energized. I can feel that things are slowly changing for the better. Maybe this weekend I’ll have time to look into seeing a therapist. That may have to wait though because my car and my bike both need some work. I’m not happy about it but I need to buy a new carb for the bike.

It seems like my goal to post every night has turned into posting every morning. I don’t usually have this many late nights in a row, but it’s nice every once in a while. I only did 2 sets Saturday since my skin was getting really raw. I really feel the need for a better hanging setup. Twice now I’ve noticed the skin right below the head had been dark/bruised looking after hanging. I won’t do any hanging today but I will try and do some skin stretching. I’ve noticed that the skin on the underside of my penis hasn’t stretched as much as the skin on top. This has caused my sac to essentially start about halfway on the underside of my shaft. It really only looks weird when I’m flaccid and also cold though. I might make a separate thread for this topic.

Nofap is still going strong. I don’t remember exactly how long my streak is at the moment but I think I’m getting close to a week. I’ve been doing better at showing up with self talk whenever I get a craving. Also, my EQ has been really good recently. More often than not now I have been waking up with morning wood. I also have been getting hard really easily. Sometimes I get a rock hard boner just from trying to wrap my dick for hanging. Honestly sometimes when it happens I just like to admire my size. It sounds kinda stupid writing it but I am genuinely happy with the size of my penis. I’m at the point now where I don’t feel insecure about my size at all. I’m definitely bigger than when I started PE over a year ago. I cannot wait for the day when I measure 8" for the first time.

Not much to report today. Streak is still going and I spent about 5-10 minutes doing manual skin stretches after a hot wrap.

You might consider vacuum hanging. There’s a learning curve, but once you get it down it’s easy. I find it way more comfortable than compression hanging and you can do much longer sessions without a hardware reset.

I will look into vacuum hanging. I hadn’t considered it before because I have been using mostly DIY equipment since it’s cheaper. Maybe it’s time to buy a decent hanging set now that I’m looking to commit some serious effort into PE.

I did 4 sets of 6 lb. 20 minute hangs today. I did a cool down with the ice pack on the last set. I decided not to bump the weight up this week since I’m still feeling a good stretch at 6 lbs. I felt a little sore on the first set despite having taken yesterday off. Also, this Sunday will have been four weeks since starting this routine so I will measure again on Sunday. I am cautiously optimistic about the results. I’ll have to do a summary on Sunday of the first 4 weeks on this routine.

I had a lot of porn cravings today. It takes a lot of energy for me to properly process these cravings without looking at porn. I have a feeling this week may be more difficult than last week. I believe today marks 1 week for the nofap streak. My goal is to make it to Sunday without relapsing. I don’t want my bad habit to get in the way of reaching my PE goals, and I want to be locked in to the routine this week.

I did 3 sets of 20 minute hangs at 6 lbs. Today. I decided to do manual skin stretches instead of the 4th set. I’m going to try and stretch out the skin on the bottom of my shaft so it is the same length as the top. I’ve noticed recently that my EQ is insane whenever I smoke weed. For whatever reason whenever I smoke any sort of skin contact on my penis gets me super hard. I decided to measure today and measured maybe a 1/16th or an 1/8th over 7.25" BPEL. This has me curious what my BPFSL will measure on Sunday. I’ve also noticed that I have been having daily morning wood at this point. It’s crazy how much of a change 1 week off of porn has done for my EQ.

I realized today that I should try and work on avoiding temptations when it comes to quitting porn. Instead of having to use a lot of energy and willpower to process cravings, I could use a little bit of energy to avoid situations where I might create a craving. For instance I like to look at my phone in the bathroom when I get home at the end of the day. More often than not I will eventually find something on my phone that triggers a craving. Instead of trying to white knuckle through the craving I could simply not bring my phone into the bathroom. Obviously I still need to practice my self talk for when I do have cravings and work on processing them in a healthy way. But I think that avoiding temptations is going to make nofap much easier.

Being easily hard was once a problem for me coz every time I touch my dick I easily am accustomed to sexy time like time to jack off. But as I continued with PE, I got decencitized like touching my dick is like scratching. The regularity of PE helped too. So sometimes I start hard when I’m just wrapping the head with t band but I just don’t panic, I sometimes breathe through and let it subside and sometimes I just let it be hard and have this bulky wrap. As soon as I apply heat, it will subside and if your not using heat, usually hanging the weight, it kind of switches the brain off and I usually lose erection. And if I have to tighten the clamp, I just pull the weight for a minute and tighten the screws. As I practice edging too, I notice my dick is able to quickly get hard and lose erection like on queue. I don’t know if it’s only me but it’s like there’s a dick to brain connection…
Regarding journaling, I used a charting app once for no fap and it tracked time and reason. For a whole week or so, I just track and didn’t really try myself to stop using. Then I started putting effort on stopping and still tracking, to see patterns. The time I always fall, the feelings I was having, the biological cues like hunger, sickness or pain, the excuses when I give in. All those I tracked and found 7:30am and 10 PM were my opportunity porn time and i had a pattern of excuses and whenever I was sick or feeling lonely. So when your journaling, use it as an awareness guide. Youll be amazed it’s not usually all mental and there’s a lot of physiological reasons the brain will use to make you grab for the bait. One psychologist calls this the 4 legged table theory. You take a leg and it gets wobbly, you take 3 legs it will collapse. Basically, your brain is needing this cocktail of feel good chemicals it once depended on. So it’s brain training, but your objectively teaching yourself rather than shaming yourself that you can do this and feel good by substituting once give you great pleasure with hopefully something more enriching for you. Nothing much to report today. Not too many cravings to deal with today and I didn’t do any PE either. I woke up with morning wood and EQ seems decent.

I did 4 sets of 20 min hangs at 6 lbs. Today. Still feeling a good stretch so I’m not gonna bump up the weights yet. I think after this week I’m going to take 2 weeks off. Partly to recover but mostly because I will be traveling a lot for the holidays. I may do some manual stretches here and there and will mostly focus on stretching out the skin on the underside of my shaft. It’s difficult for me to not get excited about measuring Sunday. I’m trying to go in with no expectations in case the results are disappointing. I’m also having to resist the temptation to measure after each set. I measured on Tuesday my BPEL and was pretty happy with the results but am still curious what my BPFSL will be since that is what I measured going before starting the hanging routine again.

Day 10 of nofap is going well. My balls have gotten noticeably bigger recently. Having regular nocturnal erections and good EQ has been super helpful for PE since I can usually tell when I need to take a day off. I will be traveling this weekend so I need to be on high alert. I’m starting to fall into a routine with nofap and it’s getting easier but doing things like traveling can throw me off and I’m worried I might relapse. The daily journaling has been helpful but I may miss this weekend if I’m too busy. Recently I’ve been thinking about my goals for the future in relation to nofap. I think having a good picture of what I want my life to look like is important so I can remember why I’m putting in so much effort and why it’s worth it.
