I don’t know about you guys, but personally, I started this whole endeavor feeling like I might very well be a jackass. Doesn’t everybody know you are born with the dick you are going to have for the rest of your life? Only chumps spend money on dickpills and the like! You have to be some kind (maybe lots of kinds) of pathetic to even want to change your size. It’s all a scam! Learn to live with and love what you got!

So I researched the topic, found some studies, found some forums. I like this one best and so far it is the only one I am actually trying to actively participate in. What’s that? People talking about ways of increasing their dick size for free? Huh. Odd. So of course that makes me less doubtful and I actually do end up spending quite a bit on equipment. I suppose I am stupid like that. ;)

Since I’m also a smartass, of course I kept shoddy records. I didn’t practice how to measure or take comparable photos. I figured, if my girlfriend asked me if my dick had gotten bigger, I’d know. And that would be good enough. I had read here about the importance of keeping records, just didn’t take it seriously.

I have been at it for well over seven months now. Do you remember what you dick looked like last week? How about last month? How about seven months ago? I sure as hell don’t. “But wait”, I can clearly hear you shout out, “that’s why you wrote down the numbers every now and then!”. And right you are. My first recorded measurement is from April 20, 2016. My length in a pump. After how much time pumping? Who knows! Girth? Nope. BPEL? MSEG? Of course not. That measurement was on my first pump, I am now on my third. (I put up a different thread about buying crap pumps, btw.) How do I compare measurements? Right, it’s impossible. Instead of reliable data I have (at best!) an indicator for progress.

Not to worry, about three weeks after the first measurement I took some pics of my dick in a traction device. If you have been at this (PE) for a while, you can probably guess where this is going.. The base of my dick isn’t in the pic, only the top. I figured who cares about the base, I am going for length! True, true. But how hard was I pressing into the fat pad? How hard was I pulling?

With time and practice I got better at the whole thing, though. I have a pic taken June 13th. It shows me at 5.9” BPFSL. The ruler pressed almost 1” into the fat pad (I do need to lose some more weight). Then one from September 28th, showing me at 6.7” BPFSL. Almost 1” into the fat pad. The pics are comparable. Same position. Same ruler. Whole dick in view. Huh.

Remember all those negative thoughts I started this thread with? Suddenly there is a clear, measurable difference in my dick. I don’t have to rely on memory and guesswork. I can see how hard I was stretching my dick then, I can see how hard I am stretching it in the second pic, how hard I am pressing the ruler. I am now convinced I have gained BPFSL.

Not so sure about BPEL. I have recorded some measurements, but not taken pics.. I need someone to smack me upside the head.

If you take one thing away from this post, and it’s actually in the title: Keep good records and for god’s sake, take pictures.

I have just started compiling a photo-log for myself from the pics I have taken over the last 6+ months. Together with notes about routine and numbers I wrote down, it does strongly indicate growth. But try to visualize this: my recorded minimum in the pump was 5.5”. My maximum after something like 7 Months is 7”. That indicates 1.5” of growth as far as BPFSL goes, assuming size in pump is similar to stretched length. I have tested recently, for me it is not exactly the same but very close. 1.5” in 7 months. To me that sounds like a whole lot.

But since my measurements used to be crap, I can’t tell how that relates to BPEL. I am not doing this to be able to pull my dick further - I want more HARD dick. Did that work so far? Who knows..

And as for taking photos: Let’s assume I got the 1.5” flaccid stretched. I believe half that is realistic, but let’s just go with it. 1.5” in seven months. That is 0.2” per month. Roughly 0.05” per week. 1.4mm. Per week. Do you seriously think you will be able to tell the difference and measure your progress by eyeballing it? I certainly can’t. But looking at a set of pics with four months between them.. 4x4x0.05”=0.8”.

You’re getting close to an inch of difference there. Think you might notice the difference in the pics?

Take monthly pics and measurements, now go forth and gain! ;)

Good post man, very valid points.

I sure wish I had taken tome photos for comparison… well at least I have always taken good measurements.

Gained 1” in several years of on and off PE, can’t REALLY see the difference.

Before my dick looked rather normal to me. Sure those guys in porn were much bigger but well, that’s why they are in porn.

Now my dick still looks normal to me. Only now I often don’t have such an easy time telling if that porn dude on the screen is bigger than me or not.

I remember one point in my growth career when I was amazed at how far I could move my hand up and down when masturbating.

But of course I got used to that, too.

I also remember feeling like an idiot in the beginning. Doing dangerous stuff to my precious manhood that any sane person would slap me for.

Now, if on a routine or not, it has become part of me and I wouldn’t want it without those extra cm or all the work I put in. Only wish I had some good pictures. Ok and to gain MORE :D

I’m not big on pictures but yes you gotta take good measurements in the beginning. The ruler and tape don’t lie.

As slow as gains are mm for mm it is indeed probably really hard to notice any difference without measuring. But I think you get to certain thresholds where you notice stuff too like you’re talking about when feeling more shaft length when masturbating etc. I recently noticed I couldn’t see the start of my glans as easily as I used to when having sex, and I haven’t gained much. I think even the slightest differences might make themselves noticeable in the details like that.

I think I’ll personally mostly use my pics/measurements to quiet my own doubts that I’m really gaining. It’s even harder for rulers to lie if you have pictures for proof :D

I am glad you guys can relate to what I am talking about! I have just yesterday started compiling all the pics and measurements I had in various places into one formal progress log. Just wish I had started it earlier!

@Hans: There do seem to be a couple of Germans on this board, don’t there? Is it just me or is the tone on various German forums not nearly as pleasant and the threads as informative as it is here?

Yeah I never really liked those german forums much. I stumbled across them from time to time without any intention to do so, because I usually read up on any subject in english.
Never felt like they had much to offer. People talking about what people were talking about here and on other english forums. I don’t recall much about the tone of these threads but I think they were not as open as here. Maybe I just didn’t care enough to find a more pleasant environment in my native language but I think this international community is far larger, more open and more advanced in the scientific or experimental aspects of PE.

PS: I have no clue about the percentage of germans on here. Dickerschwanz comes to mind, always liked his stuff.

I’ve kept a weekly journal, a simple one, on the down-low via stealth-mode in my daily engineering journal. I keep track of all my projects — writing, work projects, personal things like Christmas lists and vacations, etc. — and I simply added the PE to that journal as weekly entry with some enigmatic headings so looker-over-my-shoulders engineers won’t know what I’m entering.

Anyway, I don’t take pictures of my pecker. That’s just something I don’t want out there, certainly not on the internet, even if I’m using an alias. And I don’t want it on my computer where my kids or family might find it. And who the hell knows where all the phone pictures fly off to. So no pictures for Saul.

But records, yes. Absolutely, keep records. Make little notes about your routine and how it works, and modify and measure accordingly. Like when you first get in the gym.

I’ve been in the same boat as the OP. I remember taking measurements a long time ago, as in my sig, but I never wrote them down, and have had a hard time believing them. I remember distinctly that I could wrap my forefinger and thumb around my dick and it would only go to the knuckle of my thumb, now I can just touch the tip of my thumb to my forefinger. I remember where my dick measured to on the lube bottle brand that I’ve always used compared to what it is today. Still, I never believed it, really, for whatever reason.

I took a measurement the other day and hit just under 7” BPEL. I know for a fact that there is no way in hell I could have ever messed up the original measurement enough to get that much difference.

PE works. It is undeniable to me at this point. Don’t let it take you 4+ years. Take a picture of the ruler if you can. It’ll make the process much easier because you will see your gains as they come.
