First Report: Progress After hiatus

Hi all!

Did some PE for the first time in November. I probably didn’t do as much homework as I should’ve and started pretty heavily: 20 mins of wet jelqing OR 3 x 5-minute bathmate pump every other day (sometimes consecutively) for about 3-4 weeks. I noticed immediate reduction in turtling during the day (so slightly fuller flaccid), some nights of notably hard night-time woods (normally always get them but these were notably strong, and they are usually maxed out). I didn’t really want to measure for the first little while so I just kinda judged by feel, and my EQ seemed up and I reckon this seemed like this gave me at least the feeling of improved erection size.

But after about a month I started losing night and morning wood. One day I just had NOTHING. I definitely think I had overtrained my unit. I took almost two months off and haven’t started back up again. I notice now that my night and morning woods are a little spotty, and they seem to be better when I haven’t masturbated/had sex for a couple of days (which I find a little concerning because this seems new). However I do get some random instances of no-wood even after 2-3 days of no masturbating—so I’m not yet prepared to draw a correlation between lack of night wood and masturbation the day before. I’ve definitely reduced my j/o frequency overall. I went from daily or twice daily (while training) to now trying to wait a couple of days in between. I started my break with a three-week semen retention program after reading some recommendations given to others. (By the way, it was AMAZING, breaking that fast.)

So, until my night woods are back to normal consistently, I’m hesitant to start again.

But the good news is that I can definitely report a net gain in measured size. Multiple measurements show that I’ve increased in girth by a quarter inch (which amazed me) and in length by at least 1/8” if not a bit more. Girth is now 5.25” and length (not bone-pressed) is 7.125”.

My daytime EQ is fantastic, consistently since I started PE right through my break. Nice and full. It’s so much easier staying hard. This could be due in part to the less frequent j/o as well. My erections now stand out at 90 degrees whereas before they would typically droop even with my best erections. I HAVE noticed that I lost the flaccid results I had gained. So, it’s a bit of a strange thing: lost flaccid results, retained erection gains, lost consistency of night woods.

So a mix of PI and NI’s.

But I’m not keen on resuming yet because the new spotty night woods are freaking me out a bit. If jerking off affects my woods at night will resuming jelqs just break my penis all together? Lol.

In the other hand part of me wonders if I’m overthinking or overemphasizing the importance of night woods. I’ve read various perspectives on this. It could be that I’m not remembering the fact that my night woods perhaps weren’t always consistent to begin with! I wish I had taken more formal stock before I started PE, so that I’d know for sure if I’m just psyching myself out.

Well done and congratulations on your introduction to PE! It’s a new and exciting world, making use of what you’ve got and enjoying the journey. Like the experienced Titleist says, it does sound like you have over trained a bit, so enjoy a few rest days until your body gets more used to the workout.

Well actually I haven’t done PE since about Dec 4. It might just be that I kinda need longer to heal than usual? I didn’t do anything dangerous and experience no pain. I’ve taken so far two months off.
