I decided to try the linear routine, my main reasoning being is that I can do it every morning at the gym after my workout. I also measured my NBPEL tonight and it is about an inch under my BPEL. I would like to lose about 20-30 lbs as well so that might help lessen that gap. I struggled with getting a good reading for awhile but ultimately settled at 6.375.
I would like to get to 8 NBPEL. I definitely get why BPEL is necessary for consistency but ultimately the NBPEL is what she feels so that is why I am putting up a target number for that as well.
