Where can I purchase the male connector for Kaplan locally?

Where can I purchase the male connector for Kaplan locally?

Any idea’s?

I tried searching here in the Pumpers forum, no luck.

What is “local” to you?

When you don’t tell us your location, it’s sort of hard to answer your question. :p

Here’s where you can order one off of the Kaplan site.

Haha,

Seattle my brother!

Really? Well, shit. Go to The Crypt. It’s off Broadway on Capitol Hill. You enter off of 10th. There’s a parking lot right there so parking is easy.

They’ll charge too much for a little piece of plastic, but they’ll have a connector there. That’s where I’ve bought my cylinders and parts. I think RWG got his pump gear there too.

If you find another place, let me know. I haven’t checked the Castle stores, but there’s one right next to the Crypt if you want to power shop the part.

What's it for?

Kaplan sells both male and female couplers, but they are pricey. I think I paid like $15.00 a piece for them. They tend to swell up in the hot tub after a while. I’m amazed Home Depot doesn’t have them. I showed one to a cute little salesperson there and of course she asked the dreaded question, “What’s it for?”

;)
So I told her.

You can buy one online at McMaster.com for only $1.30. I don’t know what shipping is, but it will still be cheaper then anywhere else I think. The PN you want is 5012K251. Enter that part number on the Mcmaster home page and you will then see it listed and highlighted in the upper right quadrant of the parts page.
