If you are quoting something- particularly a patent, then you must make sure it is exactly like this.
Also the expression to ‘use in water’ surely means ithe patent only applies - only in water - not simply standing in water - the actual device has to be in water. It is not referring to the person. (Unless there is some extra wording you haven’t mentioned.
And of course it can only be sold with that expression it doesn’t stop others from marketing a pump that can be used in or with water

Here is a quote from the first line of the Patent: “A pump comprising a chamber adapted to receive a penis, a non-return valve, pumping means operable to pump fluid from the chamber, and sealing means operable to seal the pump onto the body of a user, the sealing means comprising a cut away section on a face thereof, which seals against the body of a user, when in use. “

And a bit further down it reads:

“According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a pump comprising a chamber adapted to receive a penis, a non-return valve, and pumping means operable to pump fluid from the chamber, wherein the pump is adapted for use under water. “

Correct, doesn’t cover standing up :D
