Pumping: porn, pressure, duration and rest

Hi folks!

I’m new to the pumping. I just started pumping last two months. I’ve been using the techniques of 101 pumping and condom pumping.

Any idea on what I’m doing here and/or your great experiences about pumping to share are welcome.

Here is what I’m doing.

3 sets of 10 minutes almost everyday (I’ll take a day or two off only when I’m real tired from work or damn busy with my personal stuff).
Between each session (during short break), I do some wet Jelqs, followed by a 5 minutes of penis massage in warm water. I also do some helicopter swings right after I take my penis out of the tube because I believe this helps reduce the discoloration problems :)

Pumping and Porn
I have found only two threads discussing about pumping and porn. Not many pumpers shared their experiences about the good and/or bad effects of watching porn while pumping.
Frankly, I always watch porn when I pump and I do a lot of kegels too. What about you? Why would you watch porn? Or why not?

Pressure and duration
As I have read a lot of threads on pumping, we are recommended to pump with low pressure and for 10 upto 15 minutes per each session. It’s better for both girth and length gain. Besides, I agree with the idea of “3 times of 10 minutes is better than 2 times of 15 minutes”. What about you?

During the pumping
Let say you are doing 10 minutes of pumping per each session and the pressure is 4Hg.
Is it better to keep the pressure stable during this 10 minutes? What about lowing down the pressure a little bit (I don’t know, down to 3Hg maybe?) sometimes during the session and increasing the pressure back to 4hg?
Any bad or good effect on that? And why?
Avocet8 used to comment something about that, but I’m sort of far to make a conclusion on that.

Rest
In general, we need to give our penises rests, a lot of rests if possible. That’s what I always do when I jelq and stretch. Since I start pumping, I don’t feel any tiredness on my penis, and I pump almost everyday.
I heard a few folks said they gained a lot from pumping by taking a lot of rest, like 1 day pumping and two days off. What about you?

I hope you can drop a few lines here and tell me what you think, and from your experiences, what should be done for better gains, etc.

Very good questions.

My intuitive feeling (not personal experience) has always been that pumping is a more temporary thing and I wonder if many really made permanent gains.

Therefore I would like to add this questions to the ones you asked, if you allow me to do so:

Is pumping as good for length gains as hanging and as good for girth gains as clamping?

Great questions, guys. My answers are yes to most of them. I definitely watch porn while pumping because I want to stay as hard as possible in the tube. Yes, I also combine pumping with clamping, jelqing, etc. between sets to either give my dick a break from the vacuum or to mix up with the stressors. I also pump almost everyday, with my only break on Sundays. But my “full” workout days are only MWF, with just “maintenance” pumps on Tue/Th/Sat. Details about my current routine are here:

New IPR Routine

It started out as strictly clamping and jelqing. I started incorporating pumping only about three weeks ago when I purchased my programmable QS7 pump from Pumptoys. I’m loving it so far. Yes, I vary the pressure continuously throughout my programmed sets. It allows great expansion with minimal fluid buildup. And, yes, I used lots of heat throughout my pumping sets. My goal is to stay larger continuously so that hopefully the results will become permanent at some point. In any event, I haven’t experienced any negative effects yet (which I did in the past from pumping) and hope to be able to continue pumping at this clip. So even if the results don’t actually become permanent, they’ll be with me virtually all the time. I’m really hanging low at the moment!

***This is what I do also. Porn and pumping to keep up erection levels. Kegel often. Also wrap the cylinder in a heat pad. Helicopter spins right out of the cylinder. But then,, massage to full erection and put on elastic cock ring for several minutes in between pump sets.

***Just about an infinite number of combinations in this catagory. In my latest attempt to keep trauma at an absolute minimum, my routine lasts for an hour with 5 minute pump sets at 3.5”hg. So with the breaks in between, that comes to 6 or 7 sets for 5 minutes at 3.5”hg.

***This is also one of many good techniques. Since my sets are short now, I tend to hold the pressure constant, but I always pump up slowly. If you are going to cycle up and down, do it slowly.

***I like to pump more often than I rest. My current schedule is 2 on, 1 off, but I think I have tried just about every combination possible from no rest days to an everyother day schedule. I have never had a schedule where I rest more than I pump.
