Need Help

I had bought a picturebrite 1.75” pump and have used it religiously (at least 2-3 times per week) for probably six months with no results girth wise. What would you reccomend? I also incorporated jelqing but not as much. I was looking at either getting a 1.5” pump (lapdist, couldnt find other brands) or a bathmate. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you used the advices given in the pumping 101 thread and related? You just pumped? No other exercises?

PS: Sorry for the dumb question, but you say you got no gains where your signature claims eitherwise.

How long do you pump for and at what pressure?


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I was pumping for three ten minute sessions every other day but i switched it up after i felt like it was too much. Now, it do either one or two ten minute sessions every other day. I get good expansion and i have gained length. But girth gain has been minimal at best. I have a hand brass pump (which is probably an issue) so i go by feel. I still get the red dots every few sessions.

I think since my girth is relatively low, i should continue trying to gain length while its relatively easier, since my girth is from 4.3” to 4.5” depending on the point, would you reccomend going with a 1.5” boston, a 1.5” lapdist, or a bathmate? I’m going to start doing one 10 minute session with 100 jelq strokes every other day. I already have a 1.75” and its still too large girthwise.

I was going to suggest you do 3 15 minute sessions at 4”hg which will start getting your girth going, but you don’t know your pressure. Instead of buying that 1.5” cylinder, why don’t you buy the brass pump with a gauge from Harbor Freight? You might even have a Harbor Freight in your neighborhood. Look in that old fashion phone book, or buy it on line.

You get good girth from longer sessions at low pressure, so that’s what I would do.

Your cock doesn’t really know what size cylinder it is in. The size is selected mainly for a comfort fit and if you have been comfortable in the 1.75, you are fine.

Since the 1.75” diameter cylinder is too big for you, you might want to wait on the Bathmate. I understand that it is 2.0” in diameter.

I would recommend following gprent’s advice and get a metal pump with a gauge, which will let you pump for longer duration at a more precise vacuum level. You might want to start at even lower than 4 inHg; try 2 to start with. You can always increase later.

Not only that, but if you would like more girth, GGchase, moving down in size to a smaller cylinder is not the path to get you there, when you already have a properly sized cylinder. Your money would be more profitably spent on a metal pump with a gauge.

If you do buy this pump, you can use the hose and connector off of your current pump and put it on the HF pump.

And I hate to start a new thread, so if any experienced pumper sees this, here’s my situation:

Have pumped a few times, proper warm-up/stretches beforehand. Enter at full erection.
Pump at 2-2.5 hg for a few minutes (didn’t want to over do it). So anyways.. not only do I get 0 expansion, but I also slowly lose my erection (even if looking at porn). Doens’t seem good to me.

Should I quit pumping and just do manual exercises for a while and come back later? Or just keep at it? Help =\

When you say you’re pumping “for a few minutes”… how long is that? How many minutes per set, and how many minutes total?

How is your EQ? Any negative PIs?

It’s possible that you may be able to increase the intensity of your workout.

Sounds like you are very paranoid about hurting yourself. I take it you did not. Therefore, instead of giving up, try pumping in a more effective way. Pump for at least 10 minutes and try using at least 3”hg. If that goes well, jelq for a few minutes and then repeat another 10 minute pump.
