LA Pump question

Ok so my LA Pump is coming in today!!

I’ve reviewed all the steps and feel confident on how to assemble the pump and how to increase the pressure and such. However nowhere can I find his to remove it. I mean, I’m afraid that I have this pressure for 5 to 10 minutes and after that I want to remove and I add additional pressure because I try to remove wrong. Can someone give me details or lead me to a thread or video? Video would be best, thanks.

There is a vaccum release valve on the pistol pump on the opposite side of the gauge. It is usually either a small plunger rod with small plastic ball, or has lever on it. If the small plastic ball has come off just push the rod in and release the vacuum. If all else fails, just tilt the cylinder until you break the seal. Or slide a finger under the cylinder rim.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I apologize, I should have been more clear.
What I have is the glass cylinder tube, a coupler, and a replacement hose. I purchased this based on Leo longevity and his video on YouTube on how to pump. So I don’t have a gauge or any of the small plunger rods that you’re referring to. But I think as long as I break the seal by moving around I should be okay. I’m just freaking out thinking about maybe I do something wrong and add more pressure and then I’m stuck and have to call for help which would be embarrassing

You dont have a vacuum pump?

No, per the instructions. I would use the replacement hose to suck the air out to create the pressure. And then, whenever I had reached the correct pressure I would put a tourniquet if you will, on the hose to prevent any change in pressure.

This is coming from Leo longevity’s channel on YouTube, the video is called how to pump.

I have read about that method but never heard of anyone who actually did it. I doubt you would be able to create much vacuum simply sucking on the hose. But you’ll never know because you do not have a gauge. Releasing vacuum is simple: release the clamp/tourniquet from the hose.

Word of advice: stop watching youtube nonsense and read and research here.

I recommend that you purchase a pistol style vacuum pump. They can be found many places from Amazon to the corner auto parts store for around $20. Ask for a brake bleeder kit.

Thank you! I just picked one up at Harbour Freight. You’re right. I tried sucking the air out of the pump by mouth and I felt I couldn’t get the right suction, either it was too much or too little.

Mouth suction can be dangerous, you can easily produce damaging pressures. You should stay under -5hg to start. A gauge is a must in my opinion.

I really wish I knew what I am doing wrong. Even with this vacuum pump, I’m actually getting worse suction than you did with my mouth.
I thought maybe it wasn’t secure against my body but it was. I tugged on the cylinder and it wouldn’t separate from my body - so I know I was secure there.
I ensured that the tubing was formula attached to the cylinder coupling as well as in the vacuum pump. When I would pull on the trigger if the vacuum pump, the gauge wouldn’t move more than .5 inHg. I could see my dick move up in the cylinder then go back down, then back up the tube l cylinder, etc etc with each pull off the trigger. But my dick wouldn’t continue to expand. I ended up losing my erection.

If I suck on the tube with my mouth I actually get suction. Wtf.

Sounds like a leak. Are you using lubricant?

Not actual lubricant. I do this while in the bath and use body wash. I ensure not to get the vacuum pump wet. When I mean in the bath I mean I’m in the actual tub not not bathing.

I would suggest trying a water based lube, or some sort of cream. Avoid Vaseline or petroleum based products as they will harm the acrylic. Corn starch works too, but I would try something wet first.

Sometimes the hose connection into the cylinder does not make a good connection and the valve does not open. When pumping hold/pull the hose tight into the connection and see if it makes a difference.

I have 4 cylinders I use (2”, 2.125”, 2.25” and 3”) and I need to regularly do that for my 2.125” tube.

Thank you for the advice. I wasn’t getting a really good connection or section. If you will against my body. I practiced by putting the cylinder against my stomach and then pumping and it actually held on without me having to clamp down on the hose. So it was the connection between the cylinder and my groin that was not allowing the suction to remain. This should resolve my suction issue going forward!
