Hi guys I bought my first air pump recently made by Vacu-tech (I have previously owned a Bathmate water pump though) and new to the whole hg gauge. With water pumps I previously used they never had a gauge.

Now, I began by working my way up to 5hg and I’ve read everywhere being suggested not go go over 5hg, but as I get there it literally feels like nothing and I see hardly any kind of expansion or signs of it working that well at 5hg. It is pulling my penis about a quarter of an inch longer in the tube and hardly doing anything girth wise. I pumped up to 10hg and only at 10hg do I start to feel or see any kinds of signs of a vacuum effect. I used it for about 30 minutes in 10 minute segments; After going to 5hg for 5 minutes, then going to 10hg for 5 minutes then having a break for a minute and going again it was only the 10hg that actually felt like and looked like anything was even slightly happening. I also gently wet jelqed before and after pumping to help with the pumping.

I’m just confused how anyone can say 5hg will do anything at all even in the long run.
And no, I really don’t think the gauge is broken. It’s new and seems to work fine.

Could this have anything to do with the fact I have used a bathmate previously which seems to put out much more pressure?

Cylinder size is - 1 1/4” x 1 3/4” and 8” length. (Vacu-tech’s elliptical thickwall cylinders)
I’m about 4 inches of girth at base and 6 inches in length.

Anyone able to help out here or discuss?

It could be you have conditioned yourself to higher pressures by using your Bathmate, but 10”hg on you air pump is pretty high and I want you to try something at 5”hg before you give up on it.

For me, the best expansion comes from spending longer continuous time in the pump. I have found 30 to 35 minutes of continuous pumping at a max pressure of 5”hg results in significant expansion and long lasting after pump results.

I think it would be worthwhile to give it a test. If it doesn’t work, I still think you should try sticking to a 30 minute continuous session but don’t just jump right up to 10”hg. Try starting out at 5”hg for 5 minutes and then going to 7 or 8”hg for the remaining 25 minutes. The most effective pump results come from pumping with the least trauma possible while still getting significant expansion.

I’ve seen your old posts on cylinder sizing and whatnot when I was researching before even buying an air pump, do you think I got my sizing correct or?

I have never bought an elliptical cylinder, but if it feels comfortable when using it, then you have the right size.

One more thing that will help with expansion is wrapping the cylinder with a heat pad while you pump. The best one I have found is a 6”X12” microwave Thermipaq heat pad that you can buy at Walmart for under 10 bucks:

I have been trying to get PE results off and on for awhile now, and just recently I have found positive results from pumping.
I’ve been staying under 5hg, keeping my sets to 10-13 minutes at a time.

I am having better EQ, spontaneous erections, bigger flaccid during the day, and I have gained a little length and girth from it. If I pump up to 5hg, it feels intense to me, and I do not allow myself to go over it.

Sounds like you got some positive results at the lower pressure and that is good.

The elliptical cylinder you have is the perfect size cylinder for you right now and will allow your girth to expand up to 4.8”.

I wouldn’t spend the money for that mushroom cylinder right now. See how your results go using straight wall cylinders. I have always gotten very good head expansion with normal straightwall round cylinders.

If you wanted a round cylinder it would be a 1.5” diameter, but I wouldn’t buy that now either. Your elliptical is the perfect size and if you get good results, your next size up round cylinder would be a 1.75”.

Generally speaking, as long as you are not packed, your cock doesn’t have a clue what the shape of the cylinder is.
