is this true

Honestly, guys, I think the jury is still out. There have just been too many pumping veterans who’ve said that they lose all size after several days of not pumping - even after pumping for 15, 20 years. I hope I don’t sound argumentative, but it’s the truth. For too many guys, they report that they get bigger & bigger in the tube, over time, but their “actual size” never increased.

And, others have said they received permanent size gains.

Personally, I’m not ready to shell out $200 just yet for a quality pump & tube for an illusion of “growth.”

wadzilla:

Good input. But ask them how they are pumping. Not many incorporate the PE exercises suggested here at Thunders, is my bet.

That’s very possible.

Yes. I thinking pumping should be used as a catalyst for PE, not as the MAIN exercise. It would greatly help in a session with some hanging and jelqing. But I cant say much, I’ve just started pumping and I havent gained real much in my year and a half of PEing….

Wadzilla,

Well, I just took 12 days off from any kind of pumping while on a vacation, and today I am just as big as I was when I was regularly pumping. Flaccid size just today is 5.50” L x 5.75” G. So I haven’t lost anything after several days. In fact, the PE rest did me good. My dick feels stronger than ever and is thicker and has been getting harder than usual.

If you think about it, there are many who will say that jelqing doesn’t work, because it hasn’t worked for them. There are those who will deny the effectiveness of stretching since they personally haven’t made gains. We are all unique, and our bodies will respond uniquely to the stresses we subject it to, including our dicks.

All any of us can do is report our personal experiences to share with others. I’m not trying to convert anyone to pumping or using the velcro wrap, etc. The choice is yours to make, and the successes or failures are yours to celebrate or mourn.

The great thing is that many of us are willing to share what has worked for us personally. There is no argument to be made, and “the truth” of any form of PE is subjective at best.

I’m a mathematician who believes in scientific verification and not “illusions”. My personal scientific verifications are all the individual proof that I need. Others should rely on their own personal verifications to judge the efficacy of their PE activities.

I wish you well and great gains!

Dear guys,

This is what I think is up about pumping and pe and stuff (about a 5 year pumper here and into hanging for about 2):

The first inch is easy

I think when you start pe for the first time, and say, have your normal 6” sized inch dick, and never did jelq before either (which is really just a strenuous form of masturbation), it is easy to get an extra 1”, no matter what form of pe you do.

I know I gained 1” from pumping alone and it took me about a year. PERMANENT GAIN, okay? (Both flaccid and erect.)

So, if you you start pe’ing with whatever — hanging, or jelq, or pumping — the first inch is gonna be easy. (Of course if you have an 8” or 10” to start with, then the first 2”, consequently, would be easy.)

So now i am 7” but to get another 1” is really hard and I’m having to combine a lot of different techniques and be really dedicated now. I really am beginning to wonder if I’m ever gonna be 8”. (I’m currently stalled at 7.25”.)

What I mean is you can’t expect to gain an inch from pumping and then gain another inch by hanging, as easily as the first inch you gained. Likewise, you can’t do jelq and gain an inch, and then think you’re gonna gain another inch through the miracle of pumping, right?

Okay, my second big idea: strenuous sex/masturbation = jelq

Also, I think that if your regular sex life (even just masturbating with yourself) is real strenuous over the years and you really pull and tug on your dick a lot (or your partner does), then you’re dick is gonna already by naturally enlarged, by what I would call “natural jelq,” or what you could also call “strenuous masturbation.”

You gotta figure that a lot of guys don’t really have a sex life that puts the same strenuous pressure on their dicks that serious, prolonged jelq does, i.e., one that tugs and pulls and naturally enlarges their penises. Probably most engage in gentle sex. I imagine most women like it this way too. But still a lot of guys probably do get really strenuous with their dicks, however, they just like it that way, and they’ve already enlarged their dick that 1”, before they even start their p.e. program.

(See, they’re the ones that are so disappointed by the p.e. process — i.e., their “first” inch is as difficult as my 2nd inch.)

One more idea that follows from my last observation

Another thing I think: guys that are “showers not growers” are these guys that have done this strenuous masturbation (“natural jelq”) over the years, and their large flaccid size is due to this strenuous manipulation of their dick. They’ve already gained their inch without any toys or gizmos or elaborate p.e. programs, right?

On the other hand, “growers not showers” are the kind of guy like me before I started doing p.e., who now show a larger flaccid size (yipeeee!) after our vigorous p.e. program, no matter what it is: jelq, pumping, hanging, etc.

In other words, most all guys would be growers not showers if they did not engage in p.e., either “natural p.e.” or p.e. involving toys, gizmos, or these elaborate jelq programs.

Just my two cents worth, mind you!

So, I’m really interested in this forum and these threads though, because I’m finding that elusive last inch to be really difficult, and I’ll need every last bit of ideas and advice from everybody, and since I love pumping, it’ll probably always be a part of my p.e. regimen.

And thanks you guys, for what I would definitely call $200 worth (at least!)

Bill (now in Boston)

P.S. I’ve noticed that a lot of time whatever post I make tends to kill a thread, maybe because of verbosity? I’m over that now, but if so, my apologies in advance. Just call me “thread poison.”

I don’t think so at all. I think being a shower or a grower is purely genetic and that how you have sex or masturbate won’t change that whereas regular PE can. In my prime masturbation days, say 14 - 18 yrs old when I could hardly keep my hands off it, I’d venture to say that I got some very extensive and consistent workouts. That didn’t move me a half inch toward being a shower.

No offense, but you are real long-winded. That doesn’t mean you need to be thread poison. It helps a lot if when you have a sort of related idea but not completely related to the thread starter’s subject, you start your own thread and make your own point. Then guys can speak directly to you and to that without “stealing the thunder” of another original poster.

The first inch is easy for some and a real struggle for others.

We all hit plateaus. peforeal and many others have some theroretically good antidotes to that. There are lots of theories on plateaus which will pop up if you search that word. I tend toward “shock therapy” myself. Change your routine kind of radically for awhile - or don’t do anything at all and take a break (have sex, masturbate, but no PE.) You can in fact “surprise” your dick by shifting your routine.

I guess I am just bad at communication in general. Reason why I am mostly a lurker. Sorry for having poisoned this thread.

Arghghghghgh!
