Can’t Pack Cylinder

Hi guys, I think this is my first post on the forum even though I’ve been here for a while, so hello to you all. I wanted to make a new thread but I don’t have enough posts to do it, so I guess I could ask on this one instead.

Thing is, I’ve been air pumping since 2018, doing it for some months, then resting for others, changing exercises.. And I’m back on pumping again! Even though I’ve seen results from it, I can’t pack the cylinder, it’s really weird. I’ve made my research, watched tons of tutorials, and the penis is supposed to fully pack the tube, isn’t it? I get expansion, but never, I mean NEVER did I get to the point of packing the cylinder. I do sets (maximum of 3) of 15 mins each at 4-5 pressure, and the pump size (from thickwall cylinders) is 10x2 for a 8x6 member. It gets bigger but as I said, never packing the tube. If the size is the right one and the routine too, what could be the problem then? Thanks in advance.

What is your erect girth and the size of your cylinder? Are you using constant heat?

8x6. The cylinder is 10 inch x 2 wide. And about the heat, I don’t use heat directly but the room is heated prior working out, and a heater near as well.

At 2” x 10” it should be the proper size. You should be able to pack 1/3 to 1/2. However, it took me nine months of daily pumping before I started packing over 3/4 of the cylinder and upgraded the cylinder.

Wrap a heating pad around the tube and do a long set of about 30 minutes and see what that does for you.And drop down to 3in-hg

I have a 9x2 Thickwall and when i meassured it was bigger than 2. Can you check yours?

With heat and lube I can pack 1/3 of my tube.

I do most of my pumping cold and dry and in short sessions like 2x5 or 2x10 at 4-5 hg and then I don’t pack more than maybe an inch at the base at the most.

My base girt is around 6.

Hmm, strange. I’m not any bigger than you (8x6), but I pack my 2” tube with no issues.

First, heat is key. Use pad, and preheat the tube well.

Second, what I do to pack faster is pulling the tube directly outwards while under 5-6 Hg and sealed well. Moderate, not too intense pull and keeping the eye on Hg’s. The pull will create sort of artificial pack so that the heat transfer from hot tube walls will be a lot more effective. Gradually decrease the amount of pull as you need less and less of it to sustain the pack. Let go the pull altogether when you pack without pulling. I do the pulling during my first set and currently I’m packing at 10-15 mins from starting. At second set it’s less than a minute from start when I’m packing again.

Any improvement yet? If you just increase your continuous time in the tube up to 25-30 minutes, that should make a big difference.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.
