What did I, or am I doing wrong?

What did I, or am I doing wrong?

I have hung for a little over a year now, and I have thought to have gained about an inch it seemed. And just recently, the last month at least, I have been hanging religiously every day, and wearing PEweights in succesion to my sets to stay extended while healing. The time before, when I thought I hit a brick wall or plataeu, I thought maybe it was because I wasn’t doing it enough because I wasn’t doing it as religiously as I am now, or was recently. After a session of sets lately(maybe 3-4 sets, sometimes only 2 if I had to leave early), I didn’t measure, but I did pull out my flacid length and it DID look like it was gaining. So I decided to measure my EL after about 3 1/2 weeks of this routine. I did 3 sets and measured after I wore the PEweights for about 5 hours, and my BPFSL was still at 8, but my BPEL didn’t even measure 7.75 which is where it was the last measurment that I took. I seemed to have lost about 1/4 of an inch in that. So then I figured, maybe it’s time to take a decon break, and I began not hanging yesterday. I did not do any PE yesterday. Now today when I’ve tried to see what I look like at my FSL, it definitely looks smaller. I don’t even want to take a measurment for fear of serious disappointment. I thought that if I am not gaining with what I’ve been doing for the last,WHO KNOWS how many months, then at least I should have cemented what I “have” gained already. Now I want to start hanging sets again just so that my flacid length looks good. What are some good suggestions from any of the hangers that have gained significantly here? I am at my wits end.

BTW, all the last months hanging has been done with the RS/DT fulcrum.

And Monty, if you read this, I wrote and posted this before I saw your last response in the PWweights video thread. And I’m still at my last wits end. I am still going to continue to hang, unless advised otherwise by an experienced hanger.

Don't Panic yet

I am by no means the experienced hanger you are waiting to hear from, but I know from 10 months of experience that a poor measure can be devastating. My suggestion is that you ignore it and keep going. Weather, time of day, penis fatigue, blood circulation issues, ruler placement, and angle viewing the ruler all play a part in coming up with measurements that change by 1/4 inch or so. Don’t over do it trying to make up a perceived loss of a little bit of your gains.

Yes, I have figured that out lately. I chose the wrong time to measure, being it whatever factor to cause a smaller measurement. A couple days later I measured again and measured good. I am only keeping stats on BPSL now, top and side. My top BPFSL has showed a gain since the last time I measured that way, I think. Maybe with the RS/DT fulcrum, you gain better measurements on top since you are targeting a different area in the penis.

Decon breaks are excellent and advised. During these periods the penis has a chance to heal and become more robust. It is somewhat analogous to the muscle building strategy; you breakdown muscle fibers so that after a period of rest they become larger and stronger. I do not know why people chase flaccid gains, most of us have to face the fact, your either a “shower” or a “grower.”

The reason you are measuring smaller is because the penis is healing and engorgement will shut-down prematurely due to “its not feeling as chipper.” Your flaccid will be smaller due to the same condition, it will contract into the body for more warmth and less trauma. You also must realize that you will not gain on a “straight-line,” we all level out in terms of length potential over time. Forget about your flaccid, the turtle always stays a turtle (unless you cheat), go for the boner.

Well, what I have been trying as of today is..I am switching off my angles per set. I start off hanging SO with the RS/DT fulcrum, and then the next set I do regular SO. We will see if this produces any good things. One thing I have noticed today doing this, I do not feel the need to reduce weight as much because of there being about a 30 minute break inbetween sets of a particular angle. But they are all at SO, which should be good. 20 minutes at RS/DT fulcrum…10 minute rest…20 minutes at regular SO…10 minute rest…20 minutes are RS/DT fulcrum for second set…10 min rest…etc, etc. This way, I should be able to hang more sets, given the available time I have. Each set is at 21.25lbs.
