With regards to my new hanger settings a question for you.

I attach the hanger and tighten fairly tight, I then attach my new horizontal weight stack and tighten a little more. Now before I get in a BTC position I can feel the hanger and maybe even the skin slip down.

It feels a little bit uncomfortable for say 30 sec’s and then the discomfort (behind the head) goes and I have no problems and can ease myself into a BTC position.

I reckon that the hanger is sliding down and that the skin is bunching alittle behind the head.

Would it be better to adj the hanger settings a little more inward or just let it be as is?

I don’t really like the sound of the discomfort behind the head. Could you describe that in a bit more detail please?

There is a difference between the hanger actually sliding down behind the head, and the hanger bunching the internal structures down around the ‘shoulders’ of the head. As long as the hanger is grasping the internal structures, and the shaft in front of the hanger is being compressed, and NOT sliding through the hanger, you should be ok.

As far as the discomfort behind the head, you may need to place the hanger a little more toward the base. Even one eighth, or a quarter inch might be the difference.

I recommend a tremendous amount of experimentation. Just try different things and see what you like best. Also realize this, as your penis changes, you will have to change things in your hanging style.

The discomfort behind the head is a stinging sensation and I understand now that is not desireable.

I think the stinging is caused by what you wrote “…Hanger actually sliding down behind the head, and the hanger bunching the internal structures down around the ‘shoulders’ of the head…”

I understand that the hanger sliding down is bad. That is what was happening so tonight I’m going back towards the base a little as you advised.

I suspect that the good pulls from the newer settings where coming about because the Bib sliding down dehind the head was acting kind of like a nose type hanger, producing good pull but not so good circulation.

So tonight if moving back up towards the base a little does not work out I take it that I have a few choices.

1. More wrap lenght to increase effective wrap girth, using the same hanger settings, though I’m of the thinking that less wrap may be more productive than more wrap to a point.

2. Or alter the hanger settings in a little. (Keeping the same difference in Toe.)

Am I thinking along the right path here?
