I am just curious as too how many hanging sets experienced hangers, and big gainers perform and how many days on and off? I am doing two and I have read about people doing six, am I not doing enough to get gains?

I would like to know the answer to this also. I typically only have time for 2 sets of 20 min. and realize that most hangers do 3 or more sets. I just started hanging so I can’t attest to whether 2 sets is working. Hangers, please respond. Is anyone hanging 1 or 2 sets and then supplementing with a manual stretch routine?

Back when I was hanging I did 2-4 sets of 15-20min. It depended on the day, and how much time I had. I did make good gains, but I did jelq as well.


1999: 6" EBPL X 5.25" EG ~ 2001: 7" EBPL X 5.75" EG ~ 2003: 7.25" EBPL X 6" EG

Current (Jan 2013): 7.125 EBPL X 6"EG ~ GOAL = 7+" (anything more is fine) EBPL X 6.5" EG
