Hey guys I was really wanting some thoughts/experiences with those that hang and have that strong cord/septum whatever it may be.

So usually when I hang no matter the angle, I have to turn this cord to the left/right so it doesnt turn mid-hang which feels weird and seems dangerous in my mind. That being said I found an angle where it seems all the weight is taken by this cord the stretch feels great and gets me to fatigue.

Here is what I do. After getting hooked up to hanger I place hands and feet on the ground into almost a downward dog (yoga pose) angle. I keep my legs apart. When I do that the weight hangs perfectly straight down by itself. No need to turn the cord left or right. It also doesnt allow the cord to turn really which I like.

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried this angle. I usually only do it for 5 minutes or so right now until I get more comfortable trusting it as an angle. Its a harder angle to hold for sure. Maybe it engages other muscles that support the cord, honestly no idea.

Now you should get some good discussion. ;)

My input is that this angle is almost the same anatomically as a straight out hang. Straight out is the best angle to target the septum. So maybe that is what’s going on, or you have discovered a slight upgrade to this traditional hanging angle. Have you tried straight out before?

It seems like it would be tough to maintain down dog for a full 20 minutes. Tiresome at least. Do you do yoga regularly?

Last, that septum turn mid-hang kind of makes me cringe to think about. I can’t even feel my septum, but the idea of a tendon-like structure running down the dorsal side of my cock turning all of the sudden mid hang and kind of “snapping” into a new position sounds awful, and kind of scary. Sorry that happens to you man!

So have you tried hanging straight out?

Whats the best way? using a chair or something as a fulcrum to drape the weight over?

That or a pulley or hook system. Like sitting at a desk with with a threaded hook screwed up into the bottom of the desk. You would attach a rope to the hanger, run it through the hook, and attach the weights to the other end. Going straight out like this allows you to use fulcrums as well to really hammer the septum.

I’ve been hanging for close to two months now, and I’m finding various areas being targeted depending on how I am sitting. I am up to around 7 pounds now, but felt the same types of pull with lesser weight.

For instance I feel a strong pull in the ligs and in my groin when I lie flat on my back on the edge of the bed with my feet either on the ground or elevated, so that the weight hangs down off the bed between my legs. The pull is very intense and very strong.

Another position is when I when I sit on the edge of my chair and let the weights hang straight down over the end. In that position, it’s an entirely different type of pull and feeling, where the stretch seems more concentrated in the shaft than in the ligaments.

What has been the ideal position that you all have noticed that gives the maximum pull during your sessions?

What has been the ideal position that you all have noticed that gives the maximum pull during your sessions?

The first position you describe is between the cheeks. I would define this as any position where the pubis faces the ceiling and the penis hangs straight down towards the floor. You feel this in the ligs because it is the best angle to focus the tension upon them.

The second position you describe is straight down. This is any position where the pubis faces forward (anterior) and the penis points down at the floor. This position hits the ligs, but not as well, and focuses a bit more of the tension on the tunica.

Straight out is pubis forward and penis being pulled forward. You would usually use a pulley or hook system for this. This can also be used with a fulcrum. This can generate a great deal of tunica stress, especially with a fulcrum.

There is over the leg. This is just what it sounds like: sitting with the penis and hanger over one thigh. This works to focus on one side of the penis with a fulcrum and uneven pull. I have never used this one.

Also, you have over the shoulder. Pubis facing forward, penis pointing straight up at the ceiling. Usually accomplished by using a rope over your shoulder and weights down you back. This is what many use to stretch the ligaments attaching the inner shaft to the pelvic floor, yielding a higher exit point and making low angles effective again. I have never used this one.

If you have the potential to gain from the ligs. Example high exit point, a lot above 7 (if you believe that), more than an inch of inner penis that you can palpate then I swear by BTC.

The higher those numbers it seems that those people can be quick gainers. You still have to put the effort in.

From what I have read lig gains are the fastest based on the amount of potential you have for them. BTC will target the ligs better than any other angle.

If you have not done a lot of stretching work specifically to lengthen the ligs, you should begin with BTC without question. Even if you have, I would still hit BTC first to see if you gain. To get a rough estimate of remaining lig gains check this out. I also believe LOT can help in determining this and the theory is not as debunked as everyone thinks.

If you have no lig gains remaining for sure, then you have two strategies:

Tunica work: to focus directly on the tunica I would use straight out with a fulcrum. Alternating over the leg should also work for this, I just have no experience with OTL so cannot recommend it one way or the other.

See-saw: this strategy is designed to raise your exit point so you can gain from low angle hangs again like BTC and SD, and it is accomplished through hanging over the shoulder. I have no experience with over the shoulder work so cannot recommend it. Also, the presumed mechanisms and processes for raising the exit point and allowing more lig gains seems unsupported by pubic anatomy.

On the flip side Bib will always advise people to max out their lig gains even when they don’t have much potential for them. He says this allows more stress to be applied to the tunica when you switch angles.

These individuals end up hanging BTC for months sometimes with very little to show for it. They usually get frustrated and start adding in other angles even when they are advised to focus on BTC. I don’t judge them. People want results and positive feedback by seeing gains on a ruler are an awesome thing.

True, and some people with strong connective tissues probably need more than a couple months to work up to a productive weight anyway as the skin and soft tissues will need time to adapt before big weights can be hung. BTC is pretty much where everyone should start. SD is acceptable too, I suppose.

I personally found BTC to be so much more effective. SD is my go to when my skin is having problems. The SD angle doesn’t hit the skin as hard. So when I come back from a layoff or I am having a skin problem I will mix in more SD.

I agree, BTC has been my big producer.
