Correlation Between Ligament Length and Curvature

Correlation Between Ligament Length and Curvature

First of all, I have a slight curve to the left, maybe 10-20 degree angle from perfectly straight. To my knowledge I’ve always had this thing, but it’s really hard for me to remember if I ever injured it or if I ever noticed signs of Peryonnes. If someone knows of a way to tell whether or not the curve is caused by nature or nurture, feel free to let me know as that would help me with this train of thought, but for the sake of this argument, I’m putting my money on that I was born like this.

So, if my dick has a curve, theres gotta be a reason for it right? From what I’ve been reading two things can cause such a curve, either one side of the ligs are shorter, or inner penis is actually curved. Are there any other reasons for curvature of the penis? Peryonnes as I understand involves scar tissue. Is this scar tissue on the ligaments?

I was thinking about this last night, stretching towards the uncurved side. Then I pulled straight out, and touched the shaft where the ligs were being stretched. I made sure that I was pulling straight out and not to the side, and noticed that there was significantly more tension in the concave side of the curve (the side that it curves towards.

This lead me to strongly believe that my curve is caused by difference in ligament length. If this is the case wouldn’t it be beneficial for a person such as me to hang with extra stress on the shorter ligs?

If my thought process is right (feel free to correct me where I’m wrong) this would provide more expedient gains for those born with curves(straighter dick is a longer one). IN ADDITION…by lengthening the shorter ligaments you would be correcting the curve!

For those with skills in innovative hanging, can anyone recommend to me a way for stressing the left side ligaments more than the right? I’d be a more than willing guinea pig for such an experiment.

Let me know if anyone has thought about this before or if this is a ludicrous thought. Thanks guys!

I would think that the shorter ligs would stress more because they are stretched before the longer ligs because they are shorter and would come under pressure befor the longer ones???

Right, that was my train of thought…so if you stress them even more then they should be easier to stretch…that’s in the case that the short ligament was just not stretched out.

The other case is that the ligament was the same biological breakdown, but physically shorter. In that case the curve might be able to be corrected through angled stretching but the easy gains would not be there since you’d be stretching just as hard.

Either way if you stretch it from an angle to hit the shorter ligs more then it would seem to me as though they’d provide bigger gains.

I guess I’m just brainstorming…forgive the randomness of my thoughts.

I think this poll showed a slight correlation between the hand used for masturbation and curves for some guys (I did not do any kind of analysis, I’m only going on the number of responses). It makes sense to me that the guys who masturbate the most (adolescents in puberty) are also experiencing a growth spurt. Perhaps there’s some “training” of the tissues?

Penile curves are almost certainly a result of tunica “defects.” The ligaments, both suspensory and fundiform, attach to the shaft under the pubic bone or on the “inner” penis. See this. Having one lig longer or shorter than another might make the penis rotate on its axis, but wouldn’t cause it to curve in the shaft that’s outside the body.

Ah, well that puts a bullet hole in my blimp :) Thanks for the link to the poll though. Did you forget the second link or is there something wrong with my computer?

I guess I wasn’t completely wrong though, my dick actually is kind of tilted on it’s axis. If you were looking at it head on from the front (hole) it’s turned slightly counterclockwise.

Oops! Sorry. I did forget. It’s fixed now. Also here.

i too have a slight “rotation”. My unit turns slightly clockwise as a whole, not just the shaft. I dont mind it, but it has become more noticeable since i started PE.

I have recently started to insure that my Wench is rotated slightly to the left when hanging to see if this will correct my problem.

So Westla, you’re saying that there aren’t any ligaments inside the actual shaft? why is it that when I pull on my dick straight out I feel a ligament tight on the left side and on the right side I try to feel it and it’s not tense at all?

The ligaments attach to the fascia of the shaft. A fascia is a connective tissue membrane and is stronger that skin or other tissues. Pulling on the fascia will also pull on the ligament attachment and thus on the ligament.

But are you actually feeling a ligament pull? The ligaments suspend the penis from above. While the corpora cavernosum themselves are attached to the pelvic bone on each side. See this. Perhaps you’re feeling the pull on the crus (“leg”) of the CC on that side which may be more tightly adhered to the bone or attached in a slightly different way. While most of the time the body attempts to be symmetrical, it isn’t always so.

Maybe what I’m seeing inside my penis with tension isnt really a ligament but I don’t know what else it could be….it’s definitely suspending my dick length wise…not angle wise…whatever it is.

So am I right in saying there are no ligaments at all in the penis shaft? Some drawings I see a ligament running down the shaft, and that is what I thought I was pulling. What other thin strong objects could be inside my dick??? Maybe I’ll take a picture of it because it’s really obvious to see when i’m stretching it. I’m pretty positive it’s not a vein because I tought it and it’s very tough. Also I don’t think a vein would be able to sustain the amount of force I press on it.

I guess a pic would help. If it’s on the side, it’s probably part of the CC. The ligaments don’t extend down the shaft. Here’s another drawing.

that was the drawing. I guess those are veins in the shaft in that picture? I’ll take a picture of it tonight…if that’s a vein I’ve got some pretty strong veins then lol..
