I am VERY new at PE, and have been experimenting with the wench. I have to admit I have not had much luck yet. I think mostly due to wrapping problems, which I am still working on.

But the thing I have noticed the most is the way the skin will stretch and NOT the ligament when I hang. I believed that whatever divice is used that the ligament has to stretch to gain any real length. I have looked a a few hanging pictures and it seems that the skin is stretching more than anything else.

I can do manual stretches, holding the shaft directly below the glans, and the lig will tighten before I even notice pressure on my skin. Seems to me a LOT of people trying to hang would have this same thing happen.

Any thoughts on this?

You are absolutely correct. I think most hangers have this problem at first. To many hangers your skin is the first limiting factor. You will initially get a certain amount of skin stretch and then on to the next limiting factor.

I forgot to add, continue working on perfecting your wrap as this may be whats causing your skin stress.

I don’t have direct experience with the wench, but try and pull back any loose skin as you attach the hanger so it is between the hanger and your body. I put the hanger on my penis loosly, pull skin back, and then tighten it up. With the wench, you might be able to do the same before tightening up the cable clamp. Good luck :)

Thanks to you both I am still trying to get the wrap right and I will eventually do it. I do know from research that the skin should NEVER be a limiting factor. Skin will grow according to the body’s needs (think of body builders). And the sugeries that are done focus on the ligament as THAT is the limiting factor for length. There is additional cavernosa in the body and most of this soft tissue will expand as necessary. It is just that Damn ligament, lol.

I just know that when I pull below the glans, that the lig will tighten and it does NOT take much pressure to put strain on that ligament. THIS to me, seems to be the most effective way to gain length. I imagine this is also why some people gain more than others, when all else is the same.

You probably don’t have the hanger attached tight enough. It seems odd (counter intuitive as CaptnHook puts it), but try clamping down another notch or two on the cable clamp - to the point where you can’t physically crank it down any further. Feeling too much base skin stretch (of numbness/color loss for that matter) is caused when the hanger is applying more pressure to the glans than the internal tissues. By cranking down another notch or two, the grippers will grab on tighter to the internal tissues and apply more of the stress to the ligs. As a side benefit, you’ll probably find the circulation to your glans will improve.

Thanks, I will try that. I will be trying again tonight to get the wrap right. I may have to trim my wench up a bit because the clamp does not fit.

Talons, do you warm up before applying the hanger? Maybe this is another good reason that a constant heat could help with gains; letting the skin loosen up so it could stretch more?

Trimming the wench should definitely help, I did that and afterwards felt a much stronger grip.

Also I forgot to mention in my previous post to watch out for any pain. Tighten the hanger down as much as you can, but stop at the first signs of any pain. That’s extremely important to remember.

I think it is normal to feel some skin stretch before you feel it in your ligs when you first start hanging. The first limiting factor is the skin when hanging.

SNM, I dont want to disagree, but I dont think skin stretch should ever play a part in length or girth gains. If you work with patients who grow for various reasons you will see the skin accomodate to the bodies changes. Even if it is scar tissue. That really goes to the heart of my thinking. If I used the wench as I have it now, my skin would support too much of the weight and ligament would NOT be affected as it should. Based on what I have read here, less weight could be used if the skin did not interfere. This is based on the manual techniques and feeling the ligament tighten before the skn. If you hold the shaft, just below the glans, and pull lightly, you will feel the ligament tighten but Not the skin. This is especially true for those men who are not cut.

I am also interested in the mechanics of the grip system. Anyone have thoughts on this? It is expensive, but they have a pretty good production. ( THIS is NOT an endorsement, I am just curious.)

Your skin is the first limiting factor to break through in order to achieve gains. Although initially it can be aggravating, for some even painful, it is the easiest of the limiting factors you will experience on your way to gaining length.
Consider that when fully erect, the skin on your shaft is drum tight (at least for cut guys it is). Try to imagine an additional 1” of length fitting inside of that tightened skin. It wouldn’t work.
Skin stretch is necessary, and to be expected.

As for the Wench - trim it down and expect it to break in (the velcro band will soften). Allow for some trial and error. Play around with the amount of wrap you use - an additional 1/8” thickness (or thinness) can make for a significantly better “fit” as you search for the ideal grip. Once you are hitting your internals/ligs you will know it.

Thanks for the advice captn, I will continue to work on the wrap and the fit. I know I will get it and will keep trying.

As to skin stretch, I have to disagree. Human skin will grow according to its needs, weather a person gains weight or a person gains a LOT of muscle. So skin could actually NEVER be a limiting factor in body growth (regardless of the part of body). So even though a persons skin is tight during erection, it will grow as the shaft legth grows.
Please dont take this as a criticism, but as an observation. I am putting together as many aspects of this technique as I can.

I don’t think we are disagreeing, but I think we are at odds about chronology and cause.
We agree that skin will stretch, but unlike your examples - weight lifting or weight gain - the skin of a hanger is being stretched by an external force. This is why it happens first, before internal length gains, and not concurrent, as with the gradual growth experienced through weight lifting or the like where the skin is stretched solely by internal forces.

I believe the skin stretch you are referring to does apply in the case of girth gains gotten through X-Ulis or the like.
