Best wrap to use?

Best wrap to use?

Not sure if this has been discussed but I’ve been using a 2” elastic bandage as the wrap for my hanger. Needless to say after about 15-20 minutes I just can’t stand the pain. I tried using just the theraband that comes with the bib hanger but that isn’t all that helpful when hanging…maybe I cut it too large. Not sure what the correct size would be to cut it. In any case what is everyone else using as a COMFORTABLE wrap?

Some people can stand using NO wrap at all, but they are an exception. Are you sure your just getting too much pain from the skin stretching process? I remember just using the hanger and playing with the settings for a few days before I even bothered trying to wrap.

How big did you cut the wraps? 1.5” wide or more?

Great links TT. Hadn’t seen the first one before.

I did see those links but I didn’t see any mention of specifically what people prefer to use as a wrap. I have been hanging since late november when I recieved my hanger. The wrap I currently use is the 2” wide elastic bandage. I am uncut so I pull the skin back as far as possible and then wrap. I don’t feel much skin stretch but after about 15 minutes or so I feel the elastic bandage leaving an imprint on my skin which is bothersome. I try not to stretch skin as I have plenty and mainly try to hit the ligs and sometimes the tunica.

I’ll re-read those links you posted and see if anyone mentioned what type of wrap is best.

camaro,

Have you tried sweat shirt material underneath, with Theraband on top?

You should cut your Theraband into 1.5 inch strips.

-Still bitter the y2k bug was a dud.

-My dear boy, do you ask a fish how it swims? (No.) Or a bird how it flies? (No.) Of course not. They do it because they were born to do it...

What about trying out a baby sock as the forst coat on the penis? Then you apply the therabrand on top and tape her on. It works for some people that are sensitive. Just buy a pair and cut the toe part out, don’t worry about the heel part too much.

Great link Tube, exactly what I was looking for. I will try the sock as I am using a sock that has a hole in it already for my ball hanger. I never thought to try clothing material. Truthfully I hate cutting my clothing but luckily I couldn’t find the matching pair for that sock.

Today I cut the theraband into ~2” inch wide strips x 7 inches long. The only problem is when I wrap my usual, yet painful, elastic bandage and then the theraband the hanger will not get anywhere near meshing the teeth together. I will definately try the sock as an underwrap though.
Thanks for your help guys.

What about the hex nut adjustments?

Ok see heres where I have problems. I get confused when you talk about the adjustable nuts. There is the top adjustable nut. Then two more on the bottom. Lets say for reference that when the hanger is on, the one that is closest to my balls is called the inner nut and the one that is closest to the head the outer nut and the top one the top nut. I’ve tried adjusting the bottoms ones and messing around with them. I found that when I loosen the inner nut my head doesn’t turn as dark.

I still need to figure out a way to put it on so that it is completely comfortable. I just grin and bear it though. I’ve found that I can usually stand a little bit of pain for the first 15-20 minutes which is all I really need. I’ve had the hanger on for as long as 40 minutes though…it was comfortable but the head was turning pretty dark at that point so I took it off. The one thing I’m noticing is that its getting thick at the base. I mainly hang down off my chair while I play enemy territory.

The other issue I had was which nut should be the tightest? I always make the top nut the tightest. Maybe thats what I might be doing wrong.

OK, you are not informed as of yet. There are pics on the Bib website that show all the parts. Then, you might need to read the product guide while referring to the pics to understand exactly what you need to do.

But here is a brief description of the adjustments. The wing nuts are NOT the adjustment nuts. The top bolt, wing nut assembly is the tightener. The bottom two wing nuts simply hold the right skid onto the adjustment nuts. You have to let the wing nuts out all the way to the white beads, then pull the right skid away to find the adjustment hex nuts. There is one in front, and one in back. The hex nuts next to the hinge are there to hold the bottom bolts in place. Do not unloosen those. Only the adjustment nuts should be moved.

It is a trial and error process, but you move the adjustment hex nuts about where you think they need to be, then tighten down the wing nuts to clamp the right skid in place. Then, you put on the hanger, and see how that fits concerning comfort, and the amount of top gap. If it is not right, you readjust the hex nuts and repeat.

It appears you have not actually started yet, without the correct adjustments.

> I’ve had the hanger on for as long as 40 minutes though…it was comfortable but the head was turning pretty dark at that point so I took it off.<

Please don’t hang for more than 20 minutes at a time. There is no reason to take a risk like that.

>The other issue I had was which nut should be the tightest? I always make the top nut the tightest. Maybe thats what I might be doing wrong.<

I do not understand the question. When tightening, there is only one tightening nut, the top one. The two bottom ones should be stationary.

Any other questions, just ask. But read the product guide also.

LOL, goodness I need to learn to read the directions when I buy a product rather then jumping in. I see where I went wrong…your explanation made perfect sense.

When I get home I’ll try it out by adjusting the hex nuts and not the wing nuts.
Thanks BIB
