Rough skin on glans

Any idea on how to stop the glans from getting….. rough/leathery (ewww)? Am I sucking out too much air from the cap to apply vacuum? I only experience this sensation when using the vacuum from the autoextender. I use the 3M anti fluid tape with every application.

I have only had mine for about a week, but I have been using Palmer’s lotion on my glands and shaft before I go to bed. I also sometimes use baby powder with aloe and vitamin E inside the cap. Maybe that will help.
