Mitosis: Is less more or is more more in 2020?

Mitosis: Is less more or is more more in 2020?

.
I thought I’d start a more general thread, that’s about traction and mitosis but not necessarily extender specific.

I’m currently using a tugger to stretch my skin and try and restore what I can of my foreskin from the left over mucosal tissue ahead of my circ scar.

I’ve been posting at a forum for foreskin restoration where the members seem to think that it’s better not to wear the skin tuggers all day, and that just manually tugging on the skin for ten to twenty minutes or so throughout the day for a total of about an hour is optimal for growth.

The guys at the foreskin restoration forum basically seem to think that you only need a short period of tension just to trigger mitosis, which then takes about a week to complete the formation of the new cells.

I’ve also just been reading about the RestoreX PTT () which it’s reported has been shown to work where (if you’re to believe the reports) no other traction devices have, with just 30 to 90 minutes of use a day.

All of this seems to point to less being more in terms of traction.

What do you guys think about this?

I just put in 490 hours in the Penimaster over the last 7 weeks to round off my PE practice and I’m now wearing a foreskin tugger up to 10 hours a day…

…should I be slowing down and restricting my practice to just an hour or two a day?

Is there really no extra benefit to a full day of traction?

I think that’s a tough question to answer because of the variables involved.

I’m a couple weeks out from my first three months being finished and I’ve gained 1.25cm while extending for an average of 4-5 hours per day with one rest day per week.

Some people swear that more is more and anything under 6 hours per day is a waste of time but here I am off to a great start.

I was even told in one of my first posts that my routine would somehow not be enough for any results but at the same time will somehow overtrain and exhaust my dick.

It would be an interesting study to compare length of time and the results that come with it with everyone using the same extender type/model.

Erock ; 1,25 cm gain in under 3 months are fantastic, youre on the right way. I did gain a bit over 3 cm during a bit over 2 years and an average of 3-4 hours a day, for a total of 2400+ hours in the extender.

Keep up the good work :)

Thanks for the support! Sounds like you had great results as well! And at 3-4 hours per day which seems like the “low end” of how long I see users suggest to wear an extender for!

Which extender were you using?

What us Your age? I’m 22 years old and I just started 3 days ago with pro extender (traction device). So I would like to ask you if you extended Your penis up to your full erect length or more or less inside the extender to achieve gain in the Erect Length

Everyone is different and while some have made great gains extending well below their bpel, rule of thumb is to extend around your bpel. Just make sure you are using the right tension for you. Make sure it doesn’t hurt of majorly cut of circulation to your glands.

Start : 7 BPEL, 4.8 mseg

Now : 8 BPEL, 5.43 mseg, 8.375 BPFSL

I am using the RestoreX device, I’m about 17 days in, so really too early to tell but I will be curious to see if less is more because 1 hour or 1.5 hours a day is totally doable(more convenient) and if it can achieve similar or as good of results.

I will say I believe my BPFSL is seemingly already increasing, I will post 1 month results and I I have a progress thread in the members only section if interested.

Starting stats: 1/09/16

BPEL: 6.25" EG:4.25"

Goal: 7"x4.75"

FWIW, I haven’t reached anywhere close to extending to my BPEL. I’d have to check my extender but I’m pretty sure I’m 1-1.5 inches shorter than BPEL.

I feel like I’m getting the best results when I don’t push too hard. When I come out of the extender at the end of a session I have great blood flow, I’m more sensitive than normal, and I can get a nice thick erection.

My bpfl has increased a bunch, sadly I didn’t measure that in the beginning, which I believe leads into BPEL gains. Maybe down the road I’ll be extending to my BPEL but it’s not something I’m worried about now

Can the restoreX device be worn under pants? Or its only for bedroom/bathroom use? I visited its website and it looks to be so comfortable both in the clamp portion and very nice mechanism for traction. Although I noticed that it holds penis to 90’degree angle.
So can it be worn in the pants? Like moving the penis fully downward or upward like other extenders can.

If its true I’ll buy the RestoreX as I just started PE and its my 4th day with pro extender. Noose and traction adding system is quite messy and takes time to wear and adjust the device.

Sorry, but there is no way to wear clothes over this. Maybe super loose gym shorts but nothing you would wear out in public.

I am also using the device and it is my first extender experience. The traction level starts at 1500 grams and goes up to about 3000. It is comfortable enough to sit still in a chair but I can’t imagine walking around much in it. It’s pretty intense.

When it comes to elongating the fascia of the penis, I think focusing on mitosis is a bit of a mistake since the dimensions of the fascia is more about how the extracellular matrix (ECM) is remodeled than the number of fibroblasts.

Other tissues there’s a direct relationship between cell number and tissue volume because they have very little ECM and their volume is more or less the volume of the cells themselves. But when talking about the fascia or the vasculature of the penis the relationship between cell number and volume become more variable. For ligaments only about 20% of the volume is actually fibroblasts with the remaining being connective tissue like collagen and a trace amount of other cell types. I imagine that can vary a lot depending on the specific connective tissue we’re talking about.

The way that tissue remodeling works, I just don’t know that there would be any benefit to having more fibroblasts in the tissue. Connective tissue remodeling is a pretty controlled process and fibroblast activity is regulated, there might not be a functional difference from having 10 times as many fibroblasts.

It seems to be a similar thing with endothelial and SMC cells when it comes to the CC, CS, and glans due to the control of capillary generation. Triggering capillary growth in itself doesn’t necessarily result in a permanent increase in capillary volume since there are processes that prune capillaries which the body deems unnecessary. Unfortunately there’s still a lack of literature on capillary development, we just don’t know everything about it yet.

While we are still in the dark about the underlying mechanism(s) of PE, we can still evaluate PE techniques for efficacy. The advantage in understanding the underlying mechanisms is that it can direct investigation into effective techniques, but if we prematurely decide on a theory of the underlying mechanisms we might over look reports of better techniques or waste resources investigating the wrong things.

Starting: 7"bplx5.2" 2017 (shrunk from disuse)(originally 8"bplx4.5", gained to 9"bplx6")

Current: 9.0"bplx6.125" 2020

Goal: 11.5"bplx7" 2021.

Wow, this is so clearly put and logical too. Looking at your stats it is clear you have made some progress yourself. Please can you share your routine? I am new too and I own a bathmate and a PMP so I will like to know what routines to follow to get more length and girth.
Thank you!

Thank you!

Right now my preferred routine is 20 minutes of vacuum pumping at 5 inHg every other day and sporadic hanging with a light .5lbs. hanger for several hours at a time. It’s very unintuitive since it’s such a short and easy routine, but I’ve experimented with many other pressures and times and this seems to have been the most effective of the routines I’ve tried.

For the past few months I have been experimenting with various hypotheses to see if I could increase the rate of growth, but I haven’t found anything that increased the rate of gains yet. I will soon be returning to my normal routine I think.
