When your penis is erect it’s technically “swollen” so it doesn’t make sense for a dry penis to measure in the same dimensions even when stretched.

I’m new here, but I wuold take that with a grain of salt. I don’t think you need to go beyond your streched length as genetics will come into play, as long as time spent stretching. I would be shocked if any newbie could stretch longer than their erect length. However, I would imagine most people stretching for over a year would be able to achieve this. I also think genes play a huge role in this, and evidence could be found by the large disparity in flacid to erect growth rates.

Agreed. I’m new here too btw. I think it definitely depends on genetics tho. Most dudes say their stretched flaccid is as long as their erect length. For me that’s not the case. After a year of extending tho I’m sure I’ll hit that mark. For me, my flaccid length is very inconsistent. Sometimes its biggish and other times it’s completely turtled. Sometimes it wants to stretch and other times I can’t get it to. Either way I still believe stretching just past your average flaccid stretch is the key to growth. Just enough to cause tension, and then going with that for as long as possible. Whether that be above or below your erect length.

When my flaccid size went from my start ( 5.6cm ) to 6.0cm it was a relief that this would work for me. It is slow and steady. It will take me time to reach my goal (~16.5cm flaccid). I’m about half way there at 8 months.
