Man, if it helped with reducing the fat pad, that would be HUGE. And TBH, I could stand an increase in sperm also.

Oh nice, that would be great. I was just going off what OP said about not wanting to hit places that have that much cell generation

Irradiance seems to be on the low end (> 100mW/cm2) of what Solvay1927 recommends, but that’s honestly the best I found, especially for the money.
Re-starting my PE journey, will keep you posted if NIR works wonders for me as well. ;)

Are you supposed to feel heat when you’re using near infrared? Because I really don’t feel any heat.

As far as i understand NIR is not about heating up the tissue but stimulating it in a way that promotes growth. For me it does make my penis a bit more warmer and different, but its not really heated up.

That is not necessarily a problem. As stated by the author of this thread, most NIR pads are produced in china, even the ones that are sold by western companies with 10 times markup in price.

It was tested by the guy and as far as i understand it does produce radiation in the advertised range.

That looks exactly like the one I have. A flexible pad with square LEDs, a stretchy wrap with Velcro, and the controller dongle. Same box, even.

I had been using a screw-in IR lamp in a desk lamp holder, and a long skinny flat panel IR lamp, that I just laid on my leg or abdomen.

I could use either of the lamps for a full 30-minute pump session. However, the flexible USB wrap, when wrapped around the pump tube, is stout enough that I can only use it for ten minutes per session, or my shaft will feel sunburned. I only using on full power (level 5) since I want as much penetration as possible.

The flexible wrap never gets more than slightly warm to the touch.

Tonight I noticed good after effects after using NIR while in my hydromax pump. I didn’t get as much girth as I usually get when though I was in the pump longer then normal, normally I prefer to get a little more girth, but the good part is I felt more sensitive during sex. I think sometimes with all this PE, it’s easy to dull the nerves and for me, it makes it harder to finish. But I had great EQ tonight. Above normal sensation. I am thinking of getting a FIR in the future to have the feeling of doing my extending and pumping with more effect, but use the NIR to help heal. Hopefully I can continue to repeat tonight’s results. I just recently got it and only had a chance to use it a few times so far.

Actually I was thinking of using it for warm up and pumping, not so much extending…
But open to explore my options, honestly. :D

There’s not enough clarity for me that NIR is superior as a stand-alone solution & can replace heat entirely in a routine. I see some science and research articles, but mostly anecdotal evidence for a single person that it worked well for PE. That being said, there’s potential here, but my hypothesis is if I combine NIR with other more proven heat methods I’m more likely to get good results (as long as I don’t overdo it).

I’m going to try NIR (while I wear ADS or pump), but I don’t want to stop using traditional heat (unless this creates major risk of injury).

FIR Question:
Is it dangerous for me to wrap this FIR device around my stealthformen ADS for 20 minutes while I stretch (on maximum settings)?
(stealthformen vac hanger has a few layers of plastic/ rubber so it would keep the heating pad at least a small distance from my unit, especially towards the glans)

My dude, just start using it and you will see. Too many questions, but I will help with what I can. Think of RED mainly as healing, warming up and possibly getting your stretches goals quicker. Hink just did a video on it, whatever works for you. "All Things Male No. 3 - Heat, Clamping, Edema"

~~~ I have done 25-30 min (which is recommended max) on a pad for 5 x a week for 4 months and nothing, not even a light tan. If you do get too close and feel a burning feeling, back up or lower intensity.

~~~ I’m not a RED LIGHT during pumping guy, there are some out there. I only water pump so the water stays warm with 20 min MAX pump. So I don’t see why placing a RED LIGHT through a tube and water would help in any way, with such minimal time?

Thanks Bemorethanbig - very helpful advice. I have an old hip injury also… I’m going to see if NIR helps with that too (I was reading in the amazon reviews about a person with an old shoulder injury that didn’t heal even after years of rehab that recovered with a couple months of NIR).
