What's the lowest effort PE method which actually works?

Hello guys,

I really miss the days when I was younger and had both the motivation, TIME and privacy to pursue PE. It would not be uncommon with a longer hanging session in the day and pumping session in the evening.

I want to get back into PE now, mostly for length, but time and privacy comes at a premium these days since I have a lot more on my plate and I’m living with my girlfriend.

If I weren’t living with her, I would probably do hanging as it’s the one method that have served me well in the past. But I’m not sure it’s possible to even attempt it with her around the house and it feels a bit too weird to share that part of my life with her. I mean, hanging weights off your dick is pretty weird, right? :)

I’m thinking that a comfortable ADS/extender solution is my best bet. I have days where I have home-office (not all days of the week) where I could wear it all day long + evenings after she’s gone to bed as she often does before me.

If I could find something stealthy it’s possible I could even wear it at work.

I realize extenders probably will give slower gains on average compared to hanging, but I’m not in a major rush.

Any advice? Specific recommendations on extenders would also be welcome.

An around-the-waist ADS is about as stealthy as it gets. Mine is invisible when I’m using it. LittleEngine did a ton of extender work, including rigging an electric heater to a USB battery pack he carried in a pocket. You might want to check his progress thread out.

Do you have a custom/home made ADS or a commercial one? Are you getting gains from that alone or is it supplementing other PE work?

In my experience of a bit more than 1 year on and off PE:

From most to least effort:
1 Jelqing/newbie routine
2. Rod based extender
3. Vacuum pumping

However, that’s also the order of quickest to slowest results imo. I assume you insinuate quicker results with low effort, but I would argue more effort leads to quicker results.

I’m started off with one of those $15 eBay rigs that attaches to your calf. I found that unsatisfactory, and added a steel ring that fit loosely around my shaft and re-theaded the elastic and buckles to attach to the ring instead of my calf. I upgraded the vacuum bell later.

Following Andy’s recommendation for a waist strap ADS I recently made one, but instead of using a metal ring I ordered a 70mm silicone pessary ring from eBay since I thought it might be more comfortable under higher tension than metal and I was trying to recreate the phallosan style belt.

While I don’t have the metal ring experience to compare with, I have noticed that even the silicone ring gets a little uncomfortable after a couple of hours under the relatively high tension I am able to apply with the elastic belt I’m using. I wonder if the metal ring would be about the same, better or worse under the same conditions since it is less flexible but has a smaller gauge.

But it is something to think about if you are building your own.

The ring I’m using now came off eBay, and is 10mm thick. It’s a bit large since I got an inside diameter large enough to slide over the vacuum bell. Being able to put the bell on first makes things a lot easier for me since I’m a grower.

It wasn’t cheap, though. Over $10, and I had to wait for it to come out of China. 2" "harness rings" from the hardware store are only two or three dollars if you can use something that size. My local stores only seem to have 1-3/4 and 2 inch sizes.

Yep, i did almost exactly this, except my ADS was a bungee that attached below the knee. Got about an inch in months during the pandemic when i was working from home with my wife all day. Super stealth. And I was able to work at a standing desk while the ADS did its thing.

Not quite.

I’m confident hanging is what will give me the best/quickest results, but I fear I won’t be able to commit to that in my current situation.

As such, I’m curious to explore options that require less effort, but would still give gains.

I had the same attitude towards ADS back in the day. Never did it as my sole PE method. But I THINK someone that’s deconditioned can gain from it providing enough time under tension.

If you got too much money, maybe. I find it hard to justify the price of those things, especially when there are very effective completely free methods you can use.
