Taking a little break

I hate taking breaks, but sometimes they are needed. I developed some skin irritation from a homemade hanger I was using. I just cant get the damn thing to heal up. I have been off for a month and a half so far, and will be off for at least another two weeks. I’m hoping to start up again at the beginning of the year. I’m hoping all things happen for a reason and this break will actually be a blessing in disguise. Three or four days off can do amazing things for your dick, but its definitely not a deconditioning break. Good luck to you! And congrats on your recent success!!!

I have written many threads about the detriments of short rest breaks and how they can effect your “state of dick.” My warnings to you in the past were geared toward taking it easier during your workouts, not specifically taking time off. I don’t mix business with pleasure on these boards…

I think he’s trying to tell you 4 straight days off will make your penis tougher to stretch, and fatigue. The super-rock hard erections you get after day 3 or 4 will put a smile on your face though.


I'm consistent in spurts, but gains are undeniable!

It’s really about what you do and how you feel. My workouts are very “light” compared to many others on the board, so I don’t feel it necessary to take scheduled rest days. Also, I have a fast healing cycle, so I have learned that the more days I can go without a break is better for my physiology…so I take my sessions lighter to make that possible. I also believe that when your penis becomes accustomed to high stress, it NEEDS high stress from that point on…or a true deconditioning of 3-4 months. Another way to manage this is several shorter sessions per day, each not as intense as 1 long session would be. I opt for this most of the time.
