Size Scatter Plot from TP dataset

I have been ‘playing around’ with Thunder’s PE database and I think I have some interesting results I’d like to share. The dataset consists of over 13,400 individual penis measurements from 7750 different individuals. To get the best data out of the set I decided to select only data where a user entered at least two measurements, and to average the first two measurements together and use that as the data point.
So the resulting data shows roughly the “starting size” of TP users. The average from this data should be just a little bigger than the general population as it does include the effects of some PE included in the user’s second measurement.

The attached scatter graph is based on 2320 data points and I think it gives a really good picture of the average penis (plus a small amount of PE)

2008 Starting size: 5.25 BPEL, 5.5 girth, vol. 12.7

2009 Plateau reached 6.5 BPEL, 6.0 girth, vol. 18.6

2012 Resumed PE 6.7 BPEL, 6.0 girth, Vol=19.2 Goal: it's all about the volume: Vol. > 20

Very interesting. Thank you for that. Am I correct in reading it that if you take the smack dab center of the graph you come up with about 6.5 x 5.0?

Is the x axis length and y girth? If so you have a few interesting outliers there. I would love to know who’s 8x8 and 9x7.75. Now those guys should be in some sort of record book.

Starting Measurements 03/03/2012: BPEL: 7.30" MSEG: 5.100"

Previous Measurement 11/19/2012: BPEL: 7.90" MSEG: 5.250"

Current Measurements 01/08/2013: BPEL: 8.0" MSEG: 5.250"

Goal: BPEL: 8.25" MSEG: 6.250" <-- Just a bit above the magic | How I'm getting there --> Routine and progress with pics

Statistics: (Sorry, forgot to lable axis)

Should be Girth on the Y axis (up and down) vs. Length opn the X axis (across)

Interesting statistics from this data:
Length Girth Vol.
————————————
Ave: 6.4 5.0 13.4
S,D,: 0.8 0.5 4.0

2008 Starting size: 5.25 BPEL, 5.5 girth, vol. 12.7

2009 Plateau reached 6.5 BPEL, 6.0 girth, vol. 18.6

2012 Resumed PE 6.7 BPEL, 6.0 girth, Vol=19.2 Goal: it's all about the volume: Vol. > 20

Still interesting. About 13 years ago I researched average penis size and came up with roughly 5.7 x 4.8. This graph suggests larger but with a highly specialized sample. I don’t mean disrepect and I include myself in this group as well but anyone who finds this sight and enters their data is not your average joe walkng down the street.

The second interesting part is the outliers. I say you throw them out. I am not calling any member a liar but surely in a membership this large you get let’s more politely say exaggeration or mismeasurement by few. To pick on myself several could call bullshit on me for my girth but then would I claim such an average length?

Long ramble but I think the center of the “blob” is more interesting than the plot points that are outliers.

Nice,
so for the people that don’t really care for statistics to much this translates to the following:

the small end of average for this site is:
Length:
5.6
Girth:
4.5
Vol:
9.4
The high end of average for this site is:
Length
7.2
Girth
5.5
Vol
17.4

Can you enlarge the distance between units to make the distance from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 all the way to 9 larger. I would like to see the distribution a little bit bigger. I think that would also really emphasize the outliers on the graph. I really like this kind of stuff.

So after a year’s work I’m on the large side of average.

O.K. Back to work!

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

You’re actually well above average on girth almost 2 standards deviations which is very significant and on the large side of average for length about 1 standard deviation. Keep in mind that is only data from this site. You should be proud with the size of that tool you’re carrying around.

Thanks yoshinator.I get a little discouraged sometimes when I see things like that, but I get no complaints from my wife. But no mention from her about my 20% increase in length and girth oddly.

But having said that, I’m motivated by adversity, so this will push me harder in the next year.

Better scatter plot (same data)

Here is a better plot of the same data. I made the individual dots smaller so it was more clear where they bunch up.

I also include markers for average and show a color band 2 Standard Deviations wide i.e 1 S.D. on either side of average.

Statistically 67% of men should fall within one Standard Deviation of the mean.

Length and Girth Distribution from TP database

Here are two more plots I made from the TP database.
Again, selecting only what I think is the best data out of the database. Based on the average of the first two recorded measurements from TP users who recorded two or more measurements. 2320 data points in all.
The plots attached show Length and girth and compare the TP data with the well known LifeStyles Condom study from 2001.

It is interesting to note that while the girth measurements of penis here at TP are fairly close to the LifeStyles data, the Length measurements in the TP dataset are about 0.6 inch longer than LifeStyles. This could reflect the difference between BPEL and NBPEL.

Here they are:

Hey WrightMan, nice work.

The plots show a great Gaussian distribution. Have you tried finding a mean and standard deviation? I’m not sure I understand what is on the y axis though. Can you perhaps explain or relabel it?

Also, is the length plot BPEL?

Dang, who’s 8x8?

Data attached

I have been asked if I would share the data I used for the size scatter plot and the two histograms in this thread. Of course!

Attached is the data. It has three columns of data: Username, Length (BPEL) , girth (EG) 2320 data points.

The data was gleaned from the much larger TP database of over 13300 datapoints.
To narrow down the data I took only data for users who had entered at least two measurements.
I took their first two measurements and averaged them.

Data attached:

2008 Starting size: 5.25 BPEL, 5.5 girth, vol. 12.7

2009 Plateau reached 6.5 BPEL, 6.0 girth, vol. 18.6

Haha they are like entities floating up trying to reach that elusive 8+
