Question for all and especially Bib. My SFLBP (stretched flacid length bone pressed) is consistently between 1/4 and 1/2 inch over my ELBP measurement. From the posts I have read here and elsewhere this seems to be the norm but some report smaller SFL vs EL. This does not make sense. Another variation from the norm is Bib reporting as much as 2” SLF vs EL during his growth period. This would mean (for example) an 11” SFL vs a 9” EL! Hard to imagine.

As I understand it the tissues stretch slightly more when flaccid due to the lack of the width of an erection restricting the length of the tunica. This theory makes a smaller SFL measurement difficult to understand. Maybe it is a difference in measuring techniques?

When I stretch flacid it feels like the ligs and tunica from deep in my crotch to the end of my penis are stopping the stretch. Makes it feel like one long ligament. Of course I only have my own dick as reference. Any other imput?

As a general rule I would rely more on SFL the EL for the following reasons.

First, we all know how ruler shy the little guy is. Very rarely does he not retract somewhat before measuring.

Secondly, is the ‘force’ of the hard on. Somtimes you experience a force lV erection, other times less, and so here there can also be discrepencies when measuring on different days and even different times of day.

Another point is that when we stretch we all tend to stretch straight out. However, erection angles vary, and if one must pull down to measure then the ligaments etc are displaced and the ruler also. It isn’t same BPresssing SF then E.


What is the standard way to measure flaccid length, BP or non-
BP ?


You can measure FL by grabbig the head or behind the head, obviously. The latter seem to give more accurate results.


It’s a pity that often, flaccid size is a POOR indicator of erect size!

In my case, my mormal flaccid size makes my penis almost seem to disappear - it retracts so far inside my lower abdomen there may often only be an inch and a half left exposed!

YET, at full erection, I have between 6.5 and 7 inches… It’s really embarrassing when “roscoe” is doing his disappearing act in a locker room - and I’d REALLY feel insecure on a nude beach…



that incha nd a half ain’t nothing.. I’ve been sitting there at my desk or in my car and have literally had the head of my penis retract into my body. I get up and walk to the bathroom and it just stays in there. It looks like a turtle in its shells hiding.. That makes you feel little… Of course since I started PE last month I now hang 2.75” - 4”… usually 3.25” flaccid… so I don’t have to worry of that happeining again.. Ihope anyay.

Has this ever happened to yall?

Even if I have no further gains ELwise, the self confidence I have gained with my increased flaccid length has been well worth it. I have posted my stories a few times, so I won’t repeat myself, and although sure , you still have days when it’s pretty small, I am no longer the smallest in the locker room (and a quick hidden jelg/uli or two can do wonders).

On ocassions only my head was visible through the public hair.

Those days have gone.


Guys, I appreciate the responses BUT I already know how to measure, SFL, SFLBP, EL, ELBP.

My post was to compare SFLBP to ELBP.

As I stated my SFLBP is apx 1/4 longer than my ELBP. I have read some posts here and on PE Forums of guys that have the opposite. Also, while growing, Bib reported as much as a 2” difference.

The question may be better asked of those with a smaller SL than EL. Question being, how are you streching/measuring? I pull by the head itself.

In answer to your question (from someone whose BPFSL is shorter than their BPEL) I grasp the coronal ridge of my penis and stretch it outwards and push my metal (ouch!) ruler onto my pubic bone. Initially the difference in measurements was quite substantial but now after 4 months the gap appears to be closing.

l2b, so you are saying that your SFL is LESS than your EL? I respect you precision as someone that gives serious consideration to all aspects of PE. That said, maybe you could give your theory on WHY you would get this result?

I stated a theory for why the SFL should be/is longer than EL. That being that the tissues without any lateral expansion (as they would when filled with blood) would allow a slightly longer stretched measurement.

When I do a SFL measurement I can feel the tunica and ligs acting as though they are a cable and as I stretch I take the slack out of the cable and reach a point of no more stretch. I would assume you feel this same condition. How could it get longer when erect if the tissue has reached is maximum stretch?

Again, I am not dismissing your observations I am just not able to understand how they occur.

I have absolutely no idea why this occurs but it seems I’m not the only one. There was a thread on PEForums where others observed the same phenomenum. Most guys, it seems, are longer stretched than errect and your theory why this occurs sounds quite logical. Maybe I don’t pull or push hard enough when I measure :chuckle: The strangest thing is that my FL seems to be catching up to my EL. Sorry but I can’t enlighten you with any theorys as to why this occurs - wish I knew!
