True ICM. Despite being an immune system booster, ariginine produces some free radicals in the body but I read they are not as harmful as other free radicals. In any case you should take antioxidants that neutralize these free radicals. A cheap and effective antioxidant is vitamin C, but there are many other vitamins and herbs with antioxidant properties (vitamin E, alpha lipoic acid, beta carotene, selenium, milk thistle just to name a few). I take 500mg of vitamin C with every 1000mg of arginine. Arginine is great

Does a good multivitamin contain antioxidants to counteract 1000mg of l-arginine per day?

As relates to the heart: C acts as a chelator to clean the vessels ; E is blood thinner and helps keep the vessels elastic; B complex keeps the homocystene level down; aspirin is a blood thinner and keeps damaging inflammation down.

True Joyputstick. If a person has cancer they should not take l-arginine at all.

I agree beenthere, and cancer patients cannot take a lot of other things too. Arginine should also be used with caution or not taken at all by diabetics or people who are easily prone to the herpes virus. But for people who don’t have these health problems arginine is great, especially for PEers.

stiff4ever, a good multivitamin won’t have 500mg vitamin C as far as I know (mainly only a few high potency ones have got that much), but multivitamins usually contain other vitamins and nutrients with antioxidant properties so yes taking a good multivitamin would be enough

Thanks guys!

Horeshung, I had no idea you we’re 64.. I just assumed you we’re in you 20’s or 30’s.

When I was 69, 2 years ago, I engaged in PE intensively for 2 months and almost gained 1” in length in that short period; besides that, my unit returned to be straight again, because I had the problem of a curved penis due to of age. (Pardon my English, it´s not my mother tongue). Regarding to erections they are now hard rock: incredible! I don´t say I feel good, sexually: I feel as never before in my life! I also have gained a little more on length and a lot more on girth. All thanks to PE.

Starter,

The thing is I FEEL like I am in my 20’s or 30’s. I hope this physical and mental conditioning continues for some time to come. There are guys here in their 70’s, (quite a few, actually), so why quit when you’re ahead? Right, pal? The miracles just keep coming.

Thanks for the info., guys!! I think I’ll stay away from the L-arginine. Although my doctor didn’t say it was bad for me. BTW, it DOES give me firmer and more frequent erections. But then, since I started PE, so do a lot of other things.
