Masturbation and it's effects on PE

I recently quit masturbating for two months to see if this was effecting my gains, or lack there of. The first month was very good, my erection quality went up, sex was a lot better, my PE sessions were great. I thought I might just have figured out the secret to success. However towards the end of the second month I noticed a drop in occurrence of erections throughout the day, then morning wood being lack, then PE sessions were weak and it just seemed like I wasn’t interested. I’m not sure what happened, I assumed the longer I went without masturbating the hornier I’d get. Not so, in fact the opposite was true.

I always said that masturbating wasn’t satisfying, well this aspect of masturbating might actually be good for PE. I did the deed last night, I had to make myself, I really didn’t even want to do it. And it wasn’t any good either, but I went through the motions and finished. Woke up with a nice morning wood, and had spontaneous erections all day. Had a good morning PE session, and had a nice flaccid all day.

My conclusion is that there is a certain amount of masturbating one should do. I’m sure everybody has different amounts. I’m currently on a mission to figure out what my magic number is. I think I was close before I quit (2 to 3 times a week). I think my number might be once or twice a week.

I too have good morning wood after masturbation the night before. I still like the idea of limiting it though. Sex four times per week with the wife is all I’m doing for awhile - I’m starting to get used to not masturbating.

Well if my wife was putting out 4 times a week, I wouldn’t have to masturbate either!

That’s the thing about PE, what works for me only really applies to me. You still can learn from other people’s experience, but really not verbatim it seems.

Take guys that don’t have sex with other people. Masturbation is all they have, they have to get that stuff out somehow. And wet dreams are nice, but damn messy, and they wake your ass up in the middle of the night! to clean! Hell, a pissed off wife doesn’t even do shit like that.

I knew this was the case, but what I didn’t know is PE can’t replace masturbation. That was what I wanted to learn. I thought PE could replace the masturbation and I’d be able to do more reps, with more sets, and less down time for recovery. Instead I got less and less horny, with fewer and fewer erections. My flaccid hang was smaller than usual and then my PE sessions got weak.

I masturbated last night, and it turned around the very next day. I’m going to limit masturbation like I always tried to do in the past. I’m not suggesting the more masturbation the better. I still think it needs to be limited, but by how much depends on the man obviously. It’s up to you to look at your own situation objectively and realize what is best for you.

Yep, I had the same experience about 2 years ago. went about 2 months of no ejaculation and at the end I had no sex drive what so ever. For me it’s about 2 weeks and I start feeling the loss of libido. One thing I love though is being horny as hell and not doing a damn thing about it. I get very aggressive in the weight room and can tell my testosterone levels are up because there’s a certain high that comes along with it(very confident and always in a playful/roudy mood). It eventualy levels out and that’s when I like to bust a giant nut and start the cycle over.

I guess this whole issue is relative to the use it or lose it theory. But, I would much prefer to have more sex than masturbating regularly.

I'm pissed of with my gains and loses. I've been doing this for more than 4 years. I keep measuring wrong and the next time I update my signature you will see impressive results.

1 month periods may be the most beneficial, considering your first post.

There are some periods when libido drops all by itself, without any appearent reason. That may be something like that, too.


Start: 6.9 BPEL x 4.9 (17,5 x 12,5 cm)

Now: 7.7 BPEL x 5.7 (19,5 x 14,5 cm)

At least 3 times a week and not more than once a day work for me. Otherwise my libido just falls off the cliff.

A strange thing I noticed lately is an increased morning wood when doing long edging sessions just before going to bed. I’m doing this rather casually (about twice a week); I haven’t tried that more often though.
