I am thinking maybe I am doing CC’ing a bit too much? And beating up my dick some?

I am focusing on girth right now, and I have been CC’ing almost everyday. Should I maybe do 2 days on and then 1 day off?

There isn’t much detail in your post so all I can say is that I’ve noticed that most people settle for one day on, one day off when it comes to girth work. But really, it’s all down to how your dick responds. If it shrinks up you’re overdoing it!

Well, why do you ask? Does your dick look thrashed? Is it inordinately sore lately? Any weird spots, bruises, hard veins? You’re really the best judge of whether to continue. If you’re not sure then the best course is to ease up, take a day off, and see how it feels. Trust your gut instinct. Cable clamping can be intense. Maybe do it every other day and do squeezes and other non-clamped girth work in between.

I just answered you on your other thread but cable clamping is very intense and as far as girth work I think rest days really help.

ICM, is it really more frequent for people to do 1 on 1 off than 2 on 1 off or 3 on 1 off with intense girth work? I’m wondering because I’m doing 2 on 1 off and sometimes I think it might be just a tad too much. I haven’t been doing this program for too long so its still debatable.


I don’t have any numbers to back this up, it’s just an observation I’ve made that a lot of people choose 1 on 1 off for girth work.

I’m currently doing girth work, and I started with 3 on 2 off, then 2 on 1 off, and now 1 on 1 off with the occasional 2 day workout. I would say start with 1 on 1 off, as you can always work it up and you’ll be less likely to injure yourself.

The reason I cycled down is that after I worked my jelqing sessions up in intensity three days was definately overkill and I found that two days in a row was only beneficial once a week or so.

I do very intense CC workouts and am currently doing a 45 minute routine followed by at least two days of rest with mild jelq only. I do a 5-10 minute warmup with heating pad, 5-10 minutes of jelq, then about 30 minutes of CC, with extreme bending to the left, right and down. I bend fully erect grabbing around the base and behind the head, bending to discomfort and holding for 2-5 minutes. Then unclamp, slap and re-warm, message to 100% erection, re-clamp and bend to the other side. Then repeat process, bending down. I do this about 3 to 4 times each direction.

Do that and you will need 2 or 3 days to let it rest.


Thanks for the response ICM. I think that might be the way to go. I think my erections have weakened just a bit. I think its been a slight overkill. I’d also considered trying a routine with 1 day of intense girth work followed by a day of just jelqing and then a rest day. Thanks for the input though.
