First, I’d suggest asking your question outright in this thread along with a short summary of what you are linking to, for the lazy members like me who might not want to work too hard to try and answer. ;)

If I read enough, you have tried something new for 4 weeks and not found the result you were hoping for? That is a very short time in PE especially when trying something new. In fact, in this case, one month of doing absolutely nothing might even be appropriate before trying to get results from a less is more experiment.

I personally believe less is more is the way to go but it doesn’t work if you are just coming off a higher intensity routine. You have to really start at zero, which could take months of doing nothing to start out right.

If I didn’t read enough of your other thread and have misinterpreted your situation, then go ahead and call me lazy. :)

I don’t know if you are a ‘more is more’ but the length of your session isn’t high at this stage, mof people does more than 35 min. after several weeks they started.

The lazy guy was me - copying a link is easier than an entire text, as I wrote it on my cell phone.

I appreciate your input, but I think taking an effective break is not on my list for the moment. I will go back to a little bit more intensity and see what happens. It may as well just be the regular end of easy and fast newbie gains after five months.

And no, you did not misinterpret my thread :-)

Thanks for your opinion. Actually I see i should have precised that the 35 minutes workout was a downgrade from previous 75 minutes which I did in November and December 4 times a week.

I think, as I just have told Cantlook, I should go back to longer modules. And probably more frequent too. I am very tempted to go 7/7. I had read a thread (and forgot to save it in the favorites…) of a big gainer who did just jelqs and stretches for years and every day.

Maybe this is my way. Will have to watch PI’s very closely but I’d really like to give that a try.

What do you think about not having rest days at all?

I think not having rest days at all is counterproductive; the sole kind of PE that could be done 7/7 is wearing an extender (or light hanging).

Many hanger, myself included, strive to hang every day.

I am challenged at home on the weekends, otherwise I would never rest.

We are all different here, part of the challenge is knowing what works when and being consistent.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.
