When do you measure

I awoke the other morning with “morning wood” and decided to measure immediately since it was my day of the month that I measure. Much to my horror, I came in 1/4” shorter than the month before! I measured again after my workout, as is my normal custom and I was 3/8” longer! When is the “correct” time to measure? Even at the post-workout measure it’s still all me and not a falsely inflated number, right?

Also, along this line of questioning.. How often do you measure? I am measuring monthly. My logic is that it is a long enough time span to see results, but not so long that if I see no results I’ve wasted a lot of time doing something ineffective.


Starting: 5.5 BPEL x 4.3 EG

Current: 6 BPEL x 4.72 EG

Goal: 8 BPEL x 6 EG!

Measure consistently at about the same time of day. Never measure just after wakiing. Never measure just after a bath or a shower. Always measure after a 2 day break from PE to guarantee a decent measurement.

Measuring after a routine can be an interesting way of judging the effectiveness of the routine (but nothing more).

Monthly sounds reasonable but the more times you measure the less you’ll be ditressed by a blip.

Why should you never measure just after awaking or after a shower? Just wondering. Also I didn’t know that you should wait that long after PEing for a good measurement. I’ll remember that come time for my first remeasure after starting PE. Thanks

Because of the heat. It will change your measurements, even if it’s marginally. In the end what we are looking for is consistency in measurement, otherwise we spend time celebrating a massive increase and then get disappointed by going backwards.

Anything you can do to increase the consistency of your measurements has to be good.

Yeah two days is a good time. It will hopefully minimise measurement errors caused by temporary increases.

question on the 2 days off b4 measuring. Say last PE day was monday, do you measure on wednesday or thursday? been wanting to know for a while.

EQ is stellar, just need to know how many days to take off to get accurate measure.

Oh, didn’t catch that, sorry.

I don’t pay much attention to break between PE session and measuring because I almost never get bigger measurement post-PE session (such as expanded girth for hours after clamping or pumping or bigger length some time after stretching).

For everyone else I think it’s safe to say that 1-2 days should be fine.

I measure every 3 weeks, on my day OFF. And I never take measures after PE session. I feel it’s a false measure, due to the stretches and so on. On a “normal” day it’s better to take ‘real’ measures.

Goal: NPEL 7.0 x 6.5 EG

I am doing a gradual routine right now with no rest days. I tend to measure everyday to be precise.

I don’t see the harm of measuring post work out. Isn’t a post work an indication of potential growth?

ie. get a full erection after a hanging session?

Sorry but, so would the measurement day be on the second day off or after the second day off?

I.E did PE monday so would I measure wednesday or thursday?
